The Atlanta Falcons are seeking a general manager and a fresh outlook, and the name of New England Patriots director of college scouting Thomas Dimitroff has surfaced in league circles as a possibility according to a report in the Boston Globe.

Now in his 18th season in player personnel and sixth with the Patriots, Dimitroff is considered a solid personnel evaluator, and his experience in New England should boost his candidacy.

dang...we go 16-0, and all of a sudden EVERYONE is looking at us to provide them with personnel....it sucks
 
This is interesting. I wonder if the Pats can limit when Dimitroff would take over if hired because the vast knowledge he has about their inner workings and the draft information collected.
