Never thought I'd see a 16-0 season in my lifetime.

Congratulations Patriots... hope you guys win it all... Just stay undefeated until next season so my Raiders can be the first team to beat you guys in over a year. :) ;)

Hey RS, nice as always to hear from you and thanks for the well wishes; have a safe and Happy New Year and we'll see you down the road I'm sure............

happy new year rs .

There was a guy crying on another message board I check out from time to time about how the Patriots had become the like the Raiders of the 70's and 80's, to which I replied "You mean those Raider teams that made the playoffs almost every year and won three Super Bowls", to which he replied "No, the cheap shot artists that the Raiders back then were".....................what a tool.....................

Well, I do distinctly remember Jack Tatum hitting Darryl Stingley in that pre-season game way back then.

That said, I loved it when Jim Plunkett was able to win a ring with the Raiders after taking all those shots in the 70's, because of our Swiss cheese offensive line.

Right there with you. Well stated. That was a great game with Plunkett beating the Eagles in SB XV and then later beating the 'Skins in SB XVIII.

I can't say I liked the Raiders when they were really good, in fact, I hated them. But I also really respected their team. Good luck next season, hope I don't have to listen to LT talk about being in the playoffs.

Thanks for the nice words RS, but I'm not accepting any congratulations for a perfect regular season. No offense, but 16-0 means absolutely nothing if the Pats don't extend it to 19-0. Otherwise, best wishes to you and yours for 2008. You're not such a bad guy afterall, even for a Raiders fan. ;)

Per Pulp Fiction.... "Let's not start sucking each other's D*#ks just yet."
