With the coach gone in Baltimore they will be in total rebuilding mode.....Lets offer them our WHOLE draft for Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. Ala Ricky Williams, but this one works! It solves just about every problem we have including asking for either of them individually(those Miami guys are tight!).Watcha think??

Ray Lewis is a has-been who's stats are severely padded (he get's credit for tackles just being in the same zip code).

While Reed may be worth a low first, the Pats need fresh bodies for TC. Trading down from 7 and picking up a lower 1 this year and a 1 next (plus additional picks this year depending on the point value) saves $$ on initial contracts and allows for more draft flexibility.

we have a lot of vets on the team... lets develop more young players for the future... if we are thinking of winning just the next 2 years the a fallout after that, then go for the trade... but we must also think long term... we have a great scouting team, lets trust them to make the right call come draft day...

Ed Reed is the best Safety in Football.. I'd take him over sanders any day..
he would cost multiple draft picks..
let me add to that.. Reed is one of the top 10 defenders in the league.

While I didn't like the pre-Patriot Randy Moss and wasn't excited at the prospect of him being here, I was able to see/admit that he was talented. I then ate my crow, learned to welcome the man to the family and got to see his talents first-hand.

I don't like Ray Lewis, think he's waaaay past his prime and his head is too big to drink BB's Koolaid. I'm not searching out crow recipes at this time.
