Guess we don't have to concern ourselves with the Chiefs any time soon. Not that we really had to anyway, but ownership must be completely f***** in the brain to continue with this guy. JMO.

Well, they'd be a rebuilding project with anyone so no point in going for a total immediate overhaul.

what a joke. can anyone provide ANY evidence that Herm is a good coach.

looking for facts... i guess he made the playoffs 1 or 2 years w the RATS...?

this year, he clearly took the pipe. worse than last year. a slow Pete Carroll-esque decline, a lot like Manjudas...

No surprise for me. This is an organization that kept Marty a long time after he should have been canned. I knew they weren't going to fire Herm.

sweet.

Kansas City was so fun to watch back when they played the Colts in the playoffs in 2003.

Now they are boring.

I guess we are going to get to see yet another year of Herm Edwards' brilliant "run, run, pass" offense.

I can't wait.

Cant wait to give KC a beat down..

I feel for the Chiefs fans. They areon eof the few teams I like in the AFC. They sell out EVERY game and their owner doesn't care if they win or not. That's the bottom line. Untill they want to win; they never will.

I call Herm the "Bizarro Parcells".

Parcells takes losing teams and makes them into Playoff teams in a season or two.

Herm can take a Playoff team and make it a losing team in a season or two.

Watch, if KC fires him, some team will be dying to pick him up. It's insane how he gets so much good press for being an awful coach.

Do you think anyone gave him a clock as a gag gift for Christmas?

9 game losing streak...you've earned another year as our head coach!

he must be blowing upper management. i cant see how anyone could possibly give him a job.

My condolances to the states of Kansas and Misouri.

I thought the Misouri state motto was "Show Me". So what the hell has he shown them?

Wow. I'm really surprised. I guess KC fans will, "just have to get over it.";)

I lived in the KC area in the mid and late 90s. Those are some hard core passionate fans and going to a game at Arrowhead was always a blast.
Back then they were one of the best regular season teams in the NFL, but come playoffs time it was always one and out (martyball).
I don't think they'll tolerate another season like this one, but who knows. With the way they sell out every game despite how the team is playing, there's not a lot of motivation for management to invest in some talent.

I like Herm, he is entertaining. As long as he isn't coaching my team I like to see him in the league.

Someone needs to bring back Jim Mora too, that guy was a riot.

PLAYOFFS!

Herm reminds me of several CEOs and VPs I worked with. The guys produced nothing of value for the company, but they did spend 24/7 on their image so that they could take credit for anything good that happened and so that the disconnected from reality next Board of Directors would hire them at an even better compensation package.

As long as Carl Peterson is GM there, Spermie is going nowhere, therefore KC is going nowhere.

what a joke, then he fires a whole bunch of assistants today. being an assistant for that guy is dangerous because you know the teams not going anywhere and you'll take the fall for herms "rah rah" preacher coach routine that has no substance

KC continues to suck!

KC continues to suck!
Chiefs must be a front for some illegal steer beef business or something to keep that guy on. Worst clock management ever, what game was that, anybody remember?
