Randy Moss finished with 98 receptions for 1,493 yards and an NFL-record 23 touchdown catches (1 TD every 64.9 yards reception)

Reggie Wayne with 101 receptions for 1,510 yards and 10 touchdown catches. (1 TD every 151 yards)

Moss (yards/TD) is Twice efficient than Waynes ratio.

231% better ....:rocker:

You seem to be proving the point that Randy Moss is better than Reggie Wayne. Who made an argument to the contrary?

OK. Both great seasons by great players.

Yeah, I think pretty much everyone agrees that Randy Moss is a better WR...no need to stir up a debate about that. That isnt a negative against Wayne by anymeans though, who is great in his own right and is a top 5 WR. Moss though is probably #1.

i really think it is ok to say that someone from another team had a great season...i dont know why why people on this board cant admit that. Wayne is an awesome WR.

Moss and Wayne are awesome WR. :rocker:

Also... Moss had 15.23 yards per reception. Wayne had 14.95. Yeah, it's close, but so were the total yards. It's all statistically insignificant.

On the other hand, 23 TDs vs 10...

Does anyone remember the Bronco troll who posted here after the first game of the season how Cutler had outplayed Brady because he had something like a dozen more passing yards that day? Never mind that he threw twice as many balls. Anyhow, that's who the Colt troll that made that post about Wayne winning the total yards mark reminds me of.

Wayne did it with less, didn't he?

Less what?

Less wind and bad weather? Less the #1 receiver to split the numbers? Less blatant-yet-uncalled defensive PI? Less facial hair?

I think it was a very clever shot at Peyton!

Less of a quarterback. :D

Yeah he is! Imagine how much better he'd be if he had Brady throwing to him!:D

Far far less resistance from the refs.

Take away the several bad calls on Moss, add in the fifty or so times teams like the Colts, Eagles and Ravens pass interfered with him and we would not be having this conversation.

It is simply pathetic how inaccurate some stats are. Moss outplayed his stats BIG TIME. Wayne was lousy in some games, like the Chargers game.

.......... ..........anyway, that was very funny FrontSeven, very clever!

Manning only threw 31 TD passes. You can't catch what isn't thrown.

Irrelevent. If Moss had only 10 TD catches, that probably would mean Brady would have thrown, oh, maybe 32 TDs. :D
