We've had a lot of threads on this topic that tend to go nowhere, but I thought I'd post a poll to see what the consensus was.

LOL If you ever manage to get it up be sure to add take a trip with his best friends to Hawaii followed by take a real vacation from football.

What is it with the redundancy here...

In an interview on NESN he wants to fish.........he will be back!

I might have missed it among the 5000 options up there, but I didn't see the "Celebrate winning the Super Bowl" option anywhere.

You forgot "Go to Disneyland".

every option has something to do with the pats. isnt it a possibility that he goes elsewhere?

I think one very likely scenario is a franchise tag followed pretty quickly (within a couple of weeks) by a longer term (3 year) contract. The tag would simply make it impossible for someone to swoop in and bowl him over with a huge offer with "take it or leave it before you leave this room, after that the offer is off the table."

Oh, and I can't change my poll vote, I said 3 year contract at a steep price, but with more thought it's more likely to be a 5 year contract that looks insane and makes him look like the highest paid receiver, but it in reality a steep-but-not-insane 3 year deal at its core. This is the guy who has already signed a huge (70M wasn't it?) contract with Minnesota that he didn't see the final year of, no reason to think he wouldn't sign a similar contract again.

What... you think it's even POSSIBLE that the Pats wouldn't use the franchise tag on him? If Moss ends up going to another team, we're getting 2 first round picks for it.

Moss's people and NE are already working quietly to figure out a deal, I'm sure of it. Moss has ZERO % chance of playing elsewhere next year.

He will be back. Him and Brady have something special going on and I don't think Moss will want to go anywhere else.

Nice job covering all the bases with your options here.

After the Branch fiasco, after losing by a whisker in Indy, and after 23 TDs you actually have a question about this?

Moss will take a vow of celibacy and become a Belgian Monk and make awesome beer for the rest of his life:eek:

I didn't read past the first 35 choices in the poll, but if i was betting cash money I'd say he stays in NE.

Moss will want $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Think about it...if we go 19-0 and win a SB what else would he be really playing for?

Glory. Historical immortality. Love of the game.

You forget that he and Brady have a very close relationship and both say the same things. They just love playing the game and Moss himself has said that he already has enough money, why would he need any more now?

Seriously, give the guy the credit he deserves, not just as a player, but for his character. I think he's gone out of his way to show what kind of person he really is this year and given what he's done I think it's unfair to take anything but his word on it.

I'll eat my words if that doesn't turn out to be the case, but I think given where he's come from in life and his view of his teammates, as well as his love of the game, it's beyond certain he'll be back and probably for a long contract.

i voted 'option 2'

This guy is absolutely miserable when he is playing for and with loser douchebags like the Raiders. How much do you think not having to deal with that is worth to him? I'm guessing it's near priceless.

He won't be at a Rolling Stones concert. :bricks:

After seeing how good Brady and NE is..why would he want to go to a team like Jets or another Oakland team?? he wont
