We had them beat, but we managed to blow it, and then we blew our shot at overtime:bricks: We should have beat them, they are not as good as everybody thinks.

Yea, the C's shot themselves in the foot in that game. Billups also got away with a (blatent) tackle and take away, when he knocked Rondo down and stole the ball from him. The announcers were almost in shock that it didn't get called.

Anways, it's the NBA, the regular is extremely long, and the most important thing will be keeping their top players healthy for the playoffs, because we all know they've got a very good team, that could be a contender right now.

Oh, and Rondo had a great game offensively, and I'm very happy with the developments he's made over last year. The funny thing is that some C's fans (including myself) couldn't understand why they brought in Sebastian Telfair last year, as we thought Rondo would end up being the better player. Big Baby seems to be developing too, which is also nice.

it is nice that bib baby is developing, but it was bad whe he got 2 fouls in about a 10 second spand

An office party and a malfunctioning DVR prevented me from seeing this game. Probably for the best, from the sound of it, I probably would've killed somebody.

I hate the Pistons probably almost as much as I hate the Yanks or Colts. They are a bore to watch, they have changed the NBA for the worse, particularly the flow of the game and the referee-ing. The ticky-tack, call a foul (or draw a foul) every possession stuff was patented and perfected by the Pistons, they slow the game down to a crawl, I really, really hate them. And they still get all the reputation calls.

These are the things you're up against when you face the Pistons, but a veteran team that has KG, Pierce and Ray Allen should know that by now and be able to beat them in crunch time. WTF happened?

Tony Allen probably cost us the OT chance. But it was a close game. I think the Celtics can win if they face them again. They just need to play a little sharper down the stretch.

Well lets hope that the Celtics decide to get Gary Payton since he wants to play for us, and for a cheap price too.

Isn't he a million years old? Does he have anything left in the tank?

I cannot believe the success of the 4 game/5 night West Coast Trip. Who would have believed the Celts would come home winning all five games.

Bloodied, (literally) but unbeaten....
It will be interesting to see if Odom is suspended for that tackle...and there is no other way to describe it.....

He should be, this was not a football game.
