the biggest hit i've seen is stil Sean Taylor on Moorman. He drove through him..difference though is 1s a punter and 1s a juiced up RB

Colt player wasn't ejected . :bricks:

He hit him in the chest first, then he slid up him.

If a Patriot's player had made that hit you would be talking about how he blew him up and not saying he should have been ejected.

we've seen some great ones though. Wilson on Stokley..Samuel on Wayne. Come on now

Taylor on Mormon was the best hit I ever seen. He demolished him. :rocker:

Reggie Bush got absolutely DRILLED in their home opener last season... but I forgot who it was that blasted him.

how about the hit tatum put on darryl stingley when madden was coaching raiders? i assume madden saw that one too.
:enranged:

What do you people do all day!? I barely have time to pay attention to a single messageboard for my own team. You are over here (and presumably everywhere else) policing for the slightest possible re-interpretation of some insignificant issue. Amazing. How can your own emotional life be so tied up with that of someone else?

Does anyone remember a hit that Sean Taylor made earlier in his career. I think it was a Monday or Sunday night and I think it was against Dallas. He just absolutely blew someone up and their helmet went flying like 20 yards.

That's Not the Best

The dude was letting up and was on slick carpet.

This is more dramatic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aC7_WHGsoV8

Michigan State's Nemo crushing Wisconsin's Al Jefferson.

Just the sound of it is incredible; it was heard outside the stadium, says one of the dum-dum announcers.

Old fart Madden is, well, an old fart. But don't get me started on Bob Griese, the mother--.

watching that game last night confirmed that Colts D players lead with their helmets more than any other team that I've seen games from...and I ain't seen a lot of em all because I don't have that DirectTV superfan thing. but since their just little guys I guess they have to do something to keep competitive with the rest of the league

That's not my point. I was just talking about the line about him not being ejected. Though he did blow him up.

I'm watching my one of my daughters before I go to work since you asked. I'm not policing, I just stopping by to see the playoff talk and I read the threads about the Colts.

In reference to your last line...my life isn't tied to anyone here. But, if you think that it is, then yours would seem to qualify too since younow are linked to me and mine. ;)

Wow, in the pro bowl, I have never seen that....

gotta love the congratulations, too.

I couldn't find the other ST hit that was referenced in this thread..sorry.

Why are you here? REALLY looking forward to seeing your annoying, obnoxious team ousted from the playoffs. The Colts are like a sour fart in a crowded elevator.

You are either blind or an intentional f****** liar. Watch the clip; pause it if you have to. The crown of the helmet ended up square on the facemask. It wasn't close to his chest.

I remember when Sanders didn't get called for helmet-to-helmet against Moss, either, but whatever. This particular hit was vicious and flat-out dangerous.

Can we please ease up on the "EJECT THEM!" stuff? This is football, afterall. For the record, leading with your head is frowned upon because it often injures the tackler, not the ballcarrier. You gotta hand it to the Colts, these past two years, they can pop. Now, we need to chill with the "Where's the PI?!?!" and "Blantant attempt to injure" stuff. It wasn't too long ago we were all screaming about Polian changing the rules in the mass ****ification of the NFL. Now, we like those rules because they favor our team? Give credit where credit is due, Chris Henry got stuck.

Watch it from the behind angle. His head hits him right below the chin slightly on Browns right shoulder. Watch something besides YouTube if you really want to be able to see.

Btw, I didn't read any complaints here about the hit on Reggie by Eugene Wilson.

Link me to it. I'd love to see an angle that says that wasn't helmet-to-helmet.

Its not a game of tickle fighting, for sure.

Guy on Mike and Mike, I think, this morning said that it was such a hard hit that Chris Henry for the Bengals felt it too. :D
