James Sanders and Logan Mankins were teammates @ Fresno State. In 2004 Fresno State finished 9-3 and beat Virginia 37-34 in the Humanitarian Bowl. Mankins and Sanders both declared for the 2005 Draft....Mankins was taken in the 1st round and Sanders was taken in the 4th round by the pats.

My question is.....are there any other players who were teammates in college and now play with the patriots other than Sanders and Mankins?

Gay and Green (and the late Hill) at LSU ? I think Troy was gone at least two years before Moss got to Marshall. Also Gaffney was probably out of UF before CJ got there.

Actually there are three FSU Bulldogs on the current Patriot roster. Tight end Stephen Spach was a teammate of Mankins and Sanders.

Wilfork and the departed Kareem Brown may have been Miami teammates at the same position (as Damien Woody and Dan Koppen once were at BC). Wilfork and Meriweather were almost surely Miami teammates.

Add in Santonio Thomas to that as well...

Eric Alexander and Randall Gay were definitely teammates, but I think may have been a teammate of both as well. He's in his 6th year. EA and Gay are in their 3rd and 4th respectively. So, they may have all been at LSU on the same team.

Billy Yates and Ty Warren were teammates at Texas A&M.

And not sure, but I think Ben Watson and Richard Seymour may have been teammates at Georgia for a year. Seymour was drafted in '01 and Watson in '04. And Im pretty sure Watson was there for 4 years.

Matt Light and Roosevelt Colvin were teammates at Purdue. I think they were 2 years apart in class.

Also not sure, but I think Pierre Woods and Matt Gutierrez may have been teammates at Michigan before Gutierrez transferred out for his final season.

Chris Hanson and Randy Moss both went to Marshall and Randy's been in the league two more years than Hanson, so it's possible they were teammates...

Watson transferred to Georgia from Duke. I don't think he played with Seymour at UGA...

Pierre Woods was at Michigan with Gutierrez.
