The thing that signifies Brady's greatness to me.

There's one image from last night that signifies to me why I wouldn't want any other quarterback in the NFL at the helm of my team. I haven't heard anyone mention this yet, but forgive me if it's been talked about already.

Here's the image:

The man in this picture has just become the most prolific Touchdown passer in the history of the NFL, and what's on his mind? Getting his team set up for a 2 Pt conversion to put them up by 3.

I mean, this picture right here says it all for me.

Hey he knew they needed to get the 2 pt play off before the clock ran out. Guys were celebrating albeit on his and Moss' behalf but there was still a job to do. Brady saw that it got done. Clock management IS the quarterback's job.

What's really nice is that the players and even the coaches have a little free time to savor 16-0 and sundry historical records before preparing to play again. Gotta luv the bye!

Speaking of celebrating, did anyone else notice Wilfork in the endzone celebrating with Moss after that catch? I saw that on the replay I watched tonight. Is there a rule about Defensive players coming on the field to celebrate an Offensive TD?

Haahahaha , i don't think tom brady took that decision , i am pretty sure it's BB or/and his coach assistant who came up with the 2 points conversion Strategy .

I noticed that as well. His teammates were celebrating around him and he kept trying to get them ready for the 2-point conversion, calm as ever. Needless to say, I've got a man-crush on Brady. We're incredibly spoiled to have him.

Seeing Manning botch his clock management late in the game reminded me how much better Brady was better at this his FIRST SEASON AS A STARTER.

I'm sure some other vets also excel at it, but he ALWAYS has.

Tom Brady has made very few mistakes this year in games. And in the games where the Patriots had to come from behind, really hasn't made any when the sh** hit the fan. Even the D, if they've been giving up points earlier in the game, in the last Q has given up very few points. The Gints last TD and the Colts last TD did come in the 4th Q. But they didn't matter. Not sure if there were any others. It's really remarkable to watch Brady and the team in games where thier challenged and have to come from behind. They pretty much stop making mistakes while the other team can't keep up with that and make some of thier own.

Let me begin by saying congrats to the pats and their fans. 16-0 is what it is and I know it was damn hard.

OP, I understand your feeling about the image and it is somewhat poignant. But the idea that TB should be relishing the moment at that point instead of focusing on the task at hand is silly. It's not like that. Every serious player is always only focusing on the task at hand. Ya sure, TB was quite possibly aware of it. That doesn't matter. That moment was immediately transcribed to portable disk in his head.

It's like that.
