I detected a little too much egg nog from Mr. Kraft last night.

Kind of hard to tell because he tends to speak in a long drawn out manner anyways. I must admit ... I was real uncomfortable  worrying if he was perhaps a tad lit up ... as Seinfeld says "Not that there's anything wrong with that!".

So ... what was it? Perhaps he was up all night from all the phone calls? :p

I thought as much and said so on the chat.... In any case, it wouldn't be the first time. :D All the more power to him. It's his team, he should enjoy it.

He didn't sound any different than usual to me - he always sounds like that.

Even money says he had at least as many ****tails as SB rings.

kok-tales?

YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN!

I bet there's no way he could ever walk into a Boston area pub.
Imagine all the shot glasses he's have lined up in front of him. :D :p :D

That's just the way he speaks. He's like that when stone sober.

Bob Kraft is a fan. And like any other fan he likes to drink at the game.
No doubt in my mind he was lit last night.:p

He probably was- and he deserves to be if he wants to be. But we all love Mr. Kraft, we just worry about him.

I was under the impression he got sloshed at all football games.

I mean, who wouldn't?

Hah! If I was in his position, I would have been absolutely smashed! May be give one of them Peter Grifin speech. Can you blame the guy for being happy? His team just broke bunch of records yesterday and will remain forever in history book.

Yep. I think he drinks his way through the games. At least, that's how he sounds afterwards.

It's funny he kind of made reference to other owners
not being let's say happy for him all the time.
Compared to most stodgy owners ... he is a fan 1st.
I still get that perception from the former season now lifetime ticket holder ... Robert Kraft.

You guys are off on this one. He is like that in the morning, too. It's just his voice and speech patterns that make him sound like that, not booze.

I thought that same this when I saw that this AM. I saw it last night and it went right over my head. Of course, like him................ I had a pretty good buzz cooking,

I'm glad to see that he's a fan first, and like most fans, needs a little juice to get through a tough, gritty, nerve wracked game. Good for him. :eat2:

A charmed life he must have.
Imagine, buying your favorite football team.

From what I have read about the guy he is a smart business man who worked his ass off to get to where he is today. I have a lot of respect for the guy.

I find it really funny, actually really pathetic, that every time R. Kraft is seen on T.V. someone makes a post about the man being drunk. It's been going on for years now, and it's sad. That man sounds like that every damn time he speaks.

I just find it hard to believe that so many ppl could fall under the idea that a man as incredibly intelligent and successful as Kraft is, at literally everything he does, is a lush. It's sad, and puts the wrong image into the uninformed persons mind.

Thank you. You are 100% correct.

WHO SAID LUSH?

Do you think that you are the only one that has seen the man speak more then once? I've seen and heard him and a ton of occasions, and last night, sitting in with Eison and the boys, he definitly WASN"T THE WAY HE ALWAYS IS. He wasn't blotto or anything, but it sure sounded as if he had a beverage or two.

.... and guess what? As a grown man, there is NOTHING wrong with it. He didn't make an ass of himself or anything. He sounded happy.
