Official "I predicted an undefeated season" Props thread

I'm not sure if I posted a prediction at all on this site, but I've been saying 19-0 since the day we got Moss.

I have some humble pie in the oven for all your naysayers.

Yup I called it back in August.

I think the faithful (or insane if you prefer) who said they would go undefeated deserve a little props. You said we were nuts, probably rightly so, but its time to give us our due.

Post your proof, here's mine:

Looks like you said 19-0 (and it was in reference to a 19-0 article) so a little premature. But, even a broken clock is right twice a day ;)

Well the only reason they aren't 19-0 is because they haven't played games 17,18 & 19 yet.

Ding Dong

Ask BelichickFan i predicted 50-0 so technically im still in the game.

This thread is so damn premature it's not funny. I'll post my proof if the Pats win the Super Bowl.

This thread was actually on page 4 i just found it because i was reading threw some stuff last night.

Its all in good fun so relax and buy a 16 - 0 T shirt or something.:)

Congrats to all of you who predicted 16-0. I am jealous as I was nowhere near confident enough to place any money on it at the bookmakers. I thought that 13-3 or 14-2 were more likely and admit that I was wrong. How much did you all make, out of interest?

Sorry, I am maniacally superstitious.

I said 16-0 around when there were only 3 undefeated teams left, although it wasn't on this site.

Said it the day we got Moss, not sure if I can find it on here but on plenty of other message boards I post on.

I'll chime in with a 'not it!"

To those who predicted 16-0, contrats on your lucky guess.

I recall the poster known as "signbabybrady" wrote 19-0 back in April '06. Props to that dude.

I am not sure if it ws b4 or after Moss's signing.

I won't go so far as saying I predicted it, but I knew it was a clear possibility in the pre-season back in the beginning of August and said so - specifically that this team was assembled as an attempt at the perfect season....

I even joked in the first pre-season game threat in the loss to Tampa that "there goes our perfect season" feigning a need to win every pre-season and regular season game

But I knew it was a real possibility after Week 2.

I really don't see the big deal. Every year there are threads about going undefeated. How many people are repeating it from prior years and what were your other predictions. Tony Kornheiser also predicted it, I believe after we got Moss. Then again, he continuously makes statements that are outlandish. I guess its like winning the lottery. You picked the correct numbers, good for you. Now, if you are truly a student of the game, then bravo.

I honestly believed it. When I told my Dad before the season started he said I was "out of your friggin mind".

Last night I had some fun reminding him. He is a typical worry wart Boston fan which has been burned into after 81 years even despite the recent success of the Pats & Sox.

He was getting ready to jump off the ledge last night when they were down 28-16. I said "Dad just relax, they will come back, they always do. When have they ever given you reason to doubt them."

enough with the bs of "i would have called it" or "i didn't say it, but i thought it." props to everyone who called it in writing. you were right, a whole lot of us were wrong.
