perfect season means winning all of your games that season, including playoffs. perfect "regualar season" followed by losing in the post season will remembered poorly. not only are we a distant 3 games from perfection but those 3 games will be our toughest all season:

- divisional round: probably jaguars, a team with nothing to lose that is also the most physical in the nfl;
- conference final: probably colts or chargers. as defending champes colts won't go down easy and unlike regular season they could have marvin harrison back. if it's chargers, they're a better team than last year with rivers getting another season under his belt and the acquisition of a legitimate WR in chambers;
- super bow: most likely packers or cowboys. both of these teams have top QB's and they can score points.

this is far from over and anything but easy.

I'm glad you brought this up. It's not like we have two full weeks to examine the negative, so we shouldn't enjoy a friggin' 16-0 season for more than twelve hours. They happen all the time.

Nothing personal but I find these kind of posts depressing. We've just made NFL history...can we not just enjoy that for a couple of days instead of looking to underplay our achievements :rolleyes:

Hilarious response, Fixit!

thanks for the great insight, youve told us nothing we dont already know, the patriots are pretty physical and will match up fine with the jags

you think it's depressing NOW??? Just wait til the beginning of the work week and the "Danny 88 and NSA "Let's Bash Maroney!!!" moronothon....then you'll finally know the TRUE meaning of depressing

Wow. The Jags have nothing to lose in the PLAYOFFS? They are exempt from the NFL's win and go on, lose and go home playoff format?

hey debby-downer. Go away.. really - just go away.
16-0

First in the history of NFL

Th eonly thing we probably agree on is that the SB is what we all want to see, and if that doesn;t happen it would make people focus on the nagtive to much and forget about this great feat. That said, this 16-0 is something that noone can take away from the pats :)

You mean the seasons not over? :rolleyes:

Thanks genius, we all needed your insight to "focus us" all nine hours after winning our biggest game in 3 seasons.

just 1 post-season loss makes it all for nothing. we'd be remembered as paper tigers

I'm still celebrating what they've accomplished to date ... it's amazing and we should recognize it!

Doesn't mean any of us don't realize what's ahead of the team.

P.S. 16-0 is a perfect regular season record. Just sayin'.

ask the buffalo bills if going to 4 straight bowls meant anything after losing all 4, then get back to me.
cheers

What the heck has a 16-0 regular season got to to do with the Bills choking in 4 Superbowls. :confused:

Who said it was going to be easy?

It's a good thing the Pats don't show the same fear as you do.
