KNOW he was at the game...BUT??? conspicuously absent after...did he sneak out with Shula and the 72 Fins????

as an ex-Jet employee and the BROKER behind the Polian/Mangini spygate deal, of course he left quickly and undercover.

I thought I saw an interview on NFLN but I didn't follow it as i was lurking around here.:D

He was probably too busy implementing a new policy regarding the amount of hot dogs fans can consume during a game.

Or, maybe put in a decibel meter to warn people about yelling too loud. No, that would hurt the Colts with the dome. Forget that one.

I didn't see it. Goodell is a little **** and I can't wait for him to hand the Lombardi Trophy to Kraft and Belichick.

I said this a few weeks back when we were getting ready to play the Jets and the whole "Spy Gate" thing was the topic of the day.

Goodell should not only congratulate the Patriots on their amazing season AND should do it on national TV, But he should also remind and reiterate to the NFL Nation that the episode with the taping DID NOT compromise any games, past, present or future. I can't tell you how sick and tired I am of this constantly being brought up and the Patriots being labeled as cheaters. When ever I hear some of these so called analysts on TV use those words I want to reach in and strangle them.

Anyway, how lucky are we as fans?
Simply amazing what a team!
Go Pats!

Exactly; and he should do it no later than immediately after he hands the Lombardi Trophy to BK and BB. If the NEP finish 19-0, then the Commissioner has an obligation to the game of football to state unequivocally that what has just been accomplished has not the slightest stain of deceit attached to it. He owes at least that much to history.

I would love to see Mr. Kraft and (The real genious) Bill Belichick leave that spineless pr1ck standing on the podium with the trophy on national tv and no one to hand it to.

Lol, that would be great. Or if they sent an intern out for the ceremony instead of coming out personally.

Or if they video-taped an acceptance speech. LOL!!!

Maybe Goodell won't even show up on the podium and he'll have Don Shula hand the trophy to Kraft and BB. :snob: That would speak volumes.

Back to the original question on this thread... yeah, I never heard from Goodell after the game either.

Does anyone find that odd that he did not???

Close, but not quite.

I'd rather see the practice squad accept the Lombeli
... en masse.
The Patriots' signature "team concept", y'see.

Godell would know he'd been insulted ... but no one could say so.

I didn't even think about it ,but now that it is mentioned, that is a bit odd. Makes me wonder if the Giants won if he would have. Whenever there is a lack of communication, it always leaves people to fill in the gaps, hence why no acknowledgement from Goodell. I'm not sure why he neglected this or why if he did it was not televised, but to quote BB, it is what it is.

I think my signature says it all about what i think would be funny I admit i saw it on a post here but it still works

It is sadly VERY odd...and teh fact that the media idiots have NOT mentioned it is just as odd....NOT even Lobell/Burton OR???
I would like to see MORE an audio acceptance of it...a cassette...easy quick..thank u bye=bye...done with an intern...

I am sure he does think about this due to the pats he had some monster tv rating games and pitched the NFL network to the non nfl network.

THINK ABOUT THE $$$$$$ ESCALATOR IN HIS CONTRACT HE MUST HAVE HIT BECAUSE OF THE PATS. He is a happy man very happy.

do we know for a fact that Goodell didn't congratulate the team?

I'm assuming he didn't, because if he did, it would have been on tv, b/c his pointless pregame interview was on tv. So that leads me to believe that if we didn't see it, then it didn't happen.

So why the hell did he go to the game then?
If the Colts or Jets did it would he not congratulate them?

More evidence of the bias. it's disgusting

I'm no fan of the Comish, but I'd like to know if there's any precedence for a comish congratulating a team on a regular season accomplishment. Any historians know if the comish at the time did so wth the Dolphins after they went undefeated after the regular season?
