In case you missed it, he was there with his son, Charlie Jr., and talked with Mike Lynch before the game.

He was also on the sidelines and embracing the guys after the win.

I'm sure that there are some other Ex-Pats that wished that they could have been a part of history last night.
It was good that Charlie was there though. It was a special night. :)

I saw portions of his interview with Mike Lynch but I missed his response to Lynch's question regarding Tom Brady's greatness as a quarterback. Do you recall his response by any chance?

yeah...I read in Easterbrook's column that Moss said "Brady is a mediocre to bad QB and I made him look good this season...".....Felger also echoed that quote...

When did Moss say that?

This is why Easterbrook, Peter King, and Felger suck in my book, and I haven't read any of them ever since Week 2.

Randy Moss in his postgame interview yesterday basically said Tom Brady was the man, had a killer instinct, implied Brady and Belichick were the best at their jobs in the league.

Randy has a pretty wry sense of humor--something I didn't expect, and enjoyed seeing when he finally started doing some interviews. Didn't read the column, but I'm sure he was joking. Moss has had nothing but the highest compliments for Brady since he got here.

Wow, his boy looks a lot like him.

Weis was interviewed for one of the local pre-game shows (TV).

Anyone else catch this? If so, unless he just had a cold, he seemed unhealthy/stressed/etc. He seemed really labored and watching him talk, I was concerned for him. BUT...it was great to see him come back and be here for the game.

i think the guy who posted that quote made it up as a joke....just look at the names he used...

It's probably stress, the poor guy just had the worst season in ND history.

Wait a minute, I thought that BB was a robot, that everyone hated???

It just goes to show you what a tool Mangina is. Charlie said at ND after his last game that he was going to come back to New England and talk to the people who know his system the best, to try and straighten things out (I wonder who BB was rooting for in that Navyvs ND game?).

Romeo and BB have a great relationship, as does he and Saban (look for the LSU minor leagues to move to Alabama).

It just goes to show that BB is not the monster that the press tries to make him out to be, anyone who can play golf with Charles Barkley has to have a sense of humor.

Maybe Charlie is keeping his options open in case things continue to go bad @ ND:rolleyes:

As a Notre Dame fan, I can say that Weis has been recruiting his butt off. Seriously, this guy has been in something like 35 states over the last month or so... So it's understandable that he would be a bit worn thin.

Weis said he was high school friends with Joe Montana, and he always told Joe that he'll need to step aside for Brady.

Thanks, Pats1. It certainly was good to see Charlie and good to see the affection that he has for Bill and this team.

Not high school.... think about where Charlie coaches and where he went to college.... Where did Montana go?.... Click :D

Right. Montana grew up in Pittsburgh, and Charlie is from NJ. If they went to high school together it must have been one hellofa commute :D

They both went to Notre Dame.
