Ya i'll be surprised if he doesn't get fined for saying that about the refs

Re: Burress:"That was one of the worst officiating i have seen"

Wow they are bitter but then again he kind of did take a shafted call

Re: Burress:"That was one of the worst officiating i have seen"

I agree with him. I still can't believe the officials didn't throw a flag for offensive pass interference on him when he pushed off against Hobbs in the endzone. He should have insisted on being penalized there.

the incomplete in the end zone where he was b!tchin to the ref, you could CLEARLY see he was the one that initiated the contact.

i love how we have the ability to not only demoralize teams, but totally cloud their judgement and/or cause emotional breakdowns..... baltimore ravens im talking to you

Maybe it's the bottle of champagne I just finished but I Recall next to nothing that was in our favor. The celebration penalty was B.S. and, Deus Irae, that play was closer to OPI than DPI.

He has been a cry baby for a long time.

Enjoy that Champagne, and I agree with you. It was my point, actually. Of all the Giants to be whining about calls, Burress should have been the last one doing it.

Re: Burress:"That was one of the worst officiating i have seen"

Sorry Plax but nobody buys your whiny rants about the officials.

Re: Burress:"That was one of the worst officiating i have seen"

The Pats do not just beat team, they demoralize them. Consider, for example, San Diego, Cincy, Baltimore, and Washington.

If Pllexiglass thinks this is why they lost, good luck next week.

Ah, yes, now that I re-read it . . . damn champagne :D

Mark my words, the Giants will lose next week.

You're right, it must be the champagne. I counted three plays where the play clock ran out and the ball was snapped after the fact (one obvious one) and twice Moss could have been called for offensive PI in the endzone (one a TD, the other incomplete). Now, Im not saying the Gmen didnt get a few calls too, but let's be fair.

Re: Burress:"That was one of the worst officiating i have seen"

You can ***** about this specific call or that specific call, argue that they lost you the game. At the end of the day, all you are saying is that if the game had gone differently, you would have won. Congratuf*ckinglations, no need to argue about that.
All those "questionable" decisions by the refs stack up to 16-0. Nobody wins all the calls and everybody knows that, so mostly, you look like a desperate whiner grasping at straws. Take some responsibility and play better next time.
When spygate happened, Belichick could have gone on the record and *****ed and moaned that he was getting unfairly hosed for something that everyone does. But it would have looked like a whole lot of whiny talk, and talk is cheap. Instead he proved himself competent. Don't try to somehow take away from 16 and 0 by complainging about the refs. Suck it up, shut up and beat 'em next time.

Re: Burress:"That was one of the worst officiating i have seen"

That's the same problem so many of these wannabe teams have, they play the blame game and it's never their fault or because they came up short.

DeOssie said he was in the locker room to see Zak and they are taking it pretty hard and there is a good deal of "bitterness". He said he told his son they played a hell of a game but the team that beat them is one of the best he has ever witnessed. He said he hopes in a day or so they come to realize that. ('Cause if they don't, they are toast.)

You know, if the Giants were really that good they would play like that every week and perhaps do more than just win enough to keep Coughlin's job for another week. Eli is erratic and he folds under pressure. The players, particularly on defense, makes stupid mistakes in close games that just kill them. Their receivers drop a lot of balls early that kill them late. Until they learn to eat humble pie, and take a long hard look in the mirror, it ain't gonna change in NY. For a copycat league they seem not to have a clue how to follow one of the most significant tenants of the dynasty team in their midst. Check your ego at the door, STFU, do your job, protect the football. Coughlin can't even get half these jerks to adjust their attitude to do the freakin' off season program as a team. And Strahan only wants to play if he can skip TC. Plex hates practice but he's OK to play. They don't have leaders so much as personalities...

I am not a gambling man but I think I will put money on that game... Giants are sure to lose big.

Giants seem like the Chargers of the NFC. :D

i dont know these 3 plays youre speaking of. i only remember the timeout play, the clock did go to zero, but as collinsworth said the qb's are normally given the benefit of the doubt on those. and the 'pushoff', i saw the giants db complaining to the ref, but on the replay i saw no pushoff.

refs were as fair as u could ask... i think we got a raw deal on the celebration personal foul and i think the giants got a raw deal on the personal foul on toomer, looks to me like merriweather just tripped over himself they thought he was shoved down. those were the ONLY calls i can recall being blown in this game.

exactly exactly, I was thinking the same thing. The questionable "non-call" on Hobbs, Collinsworth pointed out in the endzone, Burruss had very clearly pushed off. I thought i was the only one who caught that.

What I've noticed is opposing fans will find one or two calls that go it our favor and use those to "prove" that we get all the calls then ignore the 5-6 that go the other way. It's aggravating to say the least.
