Note: The third quarterback can still play in the game. If the third quarterback plays in the first, second or third quarters, the first two quarterbacks are ineligible to return to action. If the third quarterback plays in the fourth quarter, the first two quarterbacks are still eligible to play.

I find it interesting that both the additions are WRs...
 
Jackson being inactive surely suggests this isn't a game to look for backups anytime soon.

In the past, we have had four wide receivers active. Five is more than enough.

Dang. I wanted Troy active for sentimental reasons, especially because his record was going to be broken.

But I never posted a list of inactives with that outcome, because I couldn't think of any that made sense football-wise.

Evidently, neither could BB. :(
 
That both Spann and Ventrone were active; and that Troy Brown - with one final chance to catch TB's 49th/50th TD pass, and become the record-breaking 22nd player on one team to score a TD - was not active, is an insult and a disgrace. And also was not good football strategy: Troy couldn't have played any worse than whoever of those two played on KO coverage.
