I have seen several interviews with him and he seems so damned uncomfortable ....like he does every sunday under center......This guy is NOT going to get it done against our Patriots...Half the time he has that typical "OOPS....I just sh!t my pants" look.......The Pats on the other hand WILL SCORE pretty much at will......I am a bit "leary" of Jacobs if he plays....or even his backup......because we have been so susceptible against the run.......But I do not see them getting much passing yards/tds against us.......We should take this game by at least 21 points..........as I expect the Gints to pull most of their starters by mid third quarter.......GO PATS!!!

As i think about the Giants there attacking Defense does provide some conern and then i remember that Eli is their QB. That guy really sucks. I didn't really think he was that good at Ole' Miss. Also, I think Jacobs is good but the Pats always seem to do well against power backs.

If I were the Giants, I don’t think I would put him in this position. He is the 27th ranked NFL QB and has 18 TD passes and 18 Ints. Teams that play the Patriots with all their heart lose to the Patriots and then lose the next week as well, This includes 3 of the 4 playoff teams they beat the Chargers, The Colts and the Steelers. As a Patriots fan, I want Eli to play as the Patriots sometimes have trouble with a new QB they aren’t ready for.

He's pretty well sucked for a few weeks, and is on a major downer. I don't see him as being much of a threat, and I think that team is headed to the ****ter for the rest of this year and the tournament.

If they were fighting for a playoff position, had a healthy Burris and Jacobs, and really needed to win the game, I could be more concerned. Everything points toward them just cashing it in, and Eli not distinguishing himself at all.

Everything is about the Bucs for them. I guess it should be too. It just bodes unwell for them tomorrow night.

I"ve never been a big Eli fan. I think he doens's have the mental toughness to win consistently. That said, if we turn it over and the Giants have a good game, then yes I can see a Giants win.

I think if his RB's and WR's can actually catch a ball or two, he might have a shot. But if they drop say, 12 or 13, then it will be a long day.

If I'm Coughlin, and I REALLY want to win the game, I hand the ball off about 40 times and take any and all pressure off Eli. He'll get about 15-20 attempts but the Pats will key on the run so much that he can make a few plays (Baltimore anyone?). But he's got to be willing to take the hit under pressure.

Manning gets a bad rap. However, his low percentage in recent games doesn't bode well for the Giants in this game. The key to beating the Patriots is for the opposing offense to keep moving the chains with solid running and a high percentage passing game.

Coughlin will be completely over-matched by BB and crew.

I think TB will shred the Giant's secondary.

I saw him at the Wembley game and was struck by a couple of occasions when he didn't see people who were wide open (of course, in his defence, the linemen in front of him may have obscured his view) and then overthrew the guys he did see. The conditions weren't great for passing, but I don't recall ever seeing him play well in good conditions, either.

I agree with cinci; take his name away and he would be gone by now. I'll admit to some bias against the guy for the way that he engineered the move to the Giants, as it showed a lack of class. As much as I dislike the Colts and Manning (mainly due to fear), Peyton is in a different league in every way to Eli.

If I were a Giants fan, I would want the guy gone.

Sooo, let me get this right. Eli doesn't throw bad passes, his receivers just make bad receptions. It couldn't be that the Manning's have a hereditary trait that forces them to make bad decisions, but never have to accept the responsibility of their actions.

Eli Manning isn't willing to take a bong hit under pressure.

This organization needs to win a playoff game more than they need to attempt to beat the Pats. Coughlin needs a playoff win to save his job and Eli needs a playoff win to...show that he can.
They have to know that even if they show up and have a perfect game (unlikely), the Pats are going to have to make several very costly mistakes (also unlikely).
If the Giants get beaten up, and beaten tonight, then lose next week, a whole bunch of people in that organization will be in a lot of trouble.
If the Giants get beaten up tonight, win tonight, then lost their first playoff game, a whole bunch of people will still be in trouble.
If they play safe tonight, rest people, lose tonight, then finally win a freakin playoff game next week, no one in that organization will be in deep trouble.
I think they would put it all on the line to beat the Pats tonight if they felt like they had a decent shot at winning. But its way too real to them that they might put it all on the line, play a great game, and still come out with a loss. And I just don't see the team doing anything to hurt their chances of beating a far more beatable team (TB) next week in a game that actually matters.

Eli Manning will be the key to the Giants loss. If I see Vrabel feasting on Manning, I know that INTs and sacks will soon follow.
He's a bit better than Grossman, but just barely.

The only thing that could keep the Giants in this is their defense, but I think those blitzes will eventually lead to big plays, as Brady is good at finding the open man and getting rid of the ball quickly.
