Bringing in another TE?

Could Marcellus be coming back?

I doubt it.

Did the Jaguars or Chargers drop anyone this week?

Weird. Hopefully, for his sake anyway, it's just a temporary thing - as some here are suggesting, making room for a TE until after the BYE, at which point Brown will be re-signed.

LOL, I just saw him on TV talking about the Giants game about an hour ago.

That's a very intersting move.

Gotta think they will be adding another TE.

Chad will not be on any other team's postseason roster if he is needed ...

Has he even played. I would have thought that this would be a game, he'd get some game-time, along with Eric Alexander and Pierre Woods.

Chad Brown will be back. No one else will sign him. We need to bring a scrub to risk injury late in this game, probably a special teamer or tight end, or even a running back.

and the Jets pick up Chad Brown........

Wow, ESPNews has it in their "breaking news" box right now.

That's awesome.

If that's true, then I nominate Wiggie from Eastie. He should have been signed the minute that Dave Thomas was placed on IR.

7 LBs (incl. Izzo) on the 53 has to be a record low for BB/SP. I know that model/LB TJ Slaughter came for a workout last week, but he is just too short and light in the pants for this system. They are playing with some seriously hot fire right now.

Wiggins wasn't in football shape when he was in the NFL. Can't imagine what kind of shape he's in after a season hiatus ...

If true, then that's too bad. Wiggie could always get open, and caught everything threw to him. And he knew how to play in the POs.

Harrison has been playing a lot of LB in the "big nickel", perhaps this played into the decision to cut Brown.

hes been doing that since he came back..so its not new or within last 3 weeks

wonder if we bring anyone in.

Can we just change Chad's name to "Yo-Yo"?

Weird move on a Thursday night.

Maybe they will go after Rivers again.

I wonder if this had anything to do with Brown talking to the media the other day.

I saw him speaking on TV and I was like, 'dude, you're barely part of this team, why are you doing interviews?"

Maybe BB thought the same thing.

Who might they bring in?? One might think that this is another move with a promotion from the PSqd.....and there IS an opening there...a bit surprised they have NOT picked up anyone for the 8
