The latest NFL Network "Joe's Diner" commercial is great! It starts with 2 guys sitting at the diner bar watching the television which is showing the NFL network ad for the upcoming Patriots/Giants game this Saturday.

After the commercial, Stan turn's to Matt & says, "Quarterback with the golden arm...genius coach, looks like your Patriots are on the verge of perfection"

Matt responds with "Yup, that's pretty much it"

To which a pissed off Stan replies, "Man, I hope the Giants win!"

Matt ends the commercial with, "When you're already a dynasty, what comes next?"

These commercials and Matt in particular, perfectly illustrate a New England Patriots fan...that's why I love them!

That is a great commercial. It openly acknowledges that the Patriots hate comes from jealousy. The "dynasty" line is classic.

Yeah...the fist clencher is Stan and his comment was a riot! Matt has the perfect Boston accent which is very rare in television. They typically over-exaggerate our accent.

I just watched it again (twice!). If you haven't seen it yet, give yourself a treat & check it out. Watch how Stan's facial expression goes from enthusiastic to pissed off after he tells Matt the Patriots are poised to lay claim to the greatest team ever and Matt just says "yup, pretty much" and pouts his lips arrogantly in the great New England fan tradition!

It's freakin priceless!
