Most memorable game moment from '07 (so far)?

Which "in game" moment will you guys remember most from this season??

There are so many to choose from. Just a few that will stand out for me...

Moss's first TD Bomb from Brady
Thomas's Pick Six vs. SD
One of Moss's acrobatic TD catches vs. (Take your pick).
Belichick drawing up a play for the LB's on a dry erase board during the Dallas game (my personal favorite)
The Moss "Air Jordan" catch vs. Indy (causing the DB's to collide )
Green/Colvin Forced/recovered fumble to shut the door on Indy.
Vrabe's huge game vs. the Steelers
Gaffney's game winning TD vs. Baltimore
Maroney breaking the long TD on Miami

What a season it has been so far... wow. :rocker:

Oddly enough, the three most disheartening.

Those being the three assumingly failed 4th down attempts in the Ravens game. Just thinking about the end of that game still gives me a stomach ache.

Watching our perfect season seemingly end three times, only to be revived each time was absolutely incredible. Never before have I seen such a dramatic end to a game.

a perfect season on the line, and the pats needing a TD to take the lead, its forth down, the pats ran a qb sneak, and brady gets tackled behind the line...

Moss's first TD Bomb from Brady - From that point on, I thought that we might have the makings of a good team

All offseason we wondered if he, while talented still had gaas in the tank. All pre-season we wondered this this was the Moss we were gonna get. If he and Brady would hit it off. After than play, almost ALL of us knew we were in for something special.

I'd take these two, and add one more moment from the Indy game: the Welker return on the winning drive. When we started the drive from midfield as opposed to being pinned back inside the 20, I think we all started to sense that the tide had finally turned. (That, plus it showed us all what a tough little SOB Welker is.)

Watching our perfect season seemingly end three times, only to be revived each time was absolutely incredible. Never before have I seen such a dramatic end to a game.

That would be mine too, without a doubt. If the Pats do indeed go 19-0, when I'm 80 years old and reminiscing about this season, the one specific instance that I'll remember more than anything else is the 4th quarter of the Ravens game. It's a terrible feeling to have that sinking feeling, you know the one, when you realize there's no longer any possible way to win the game. It's an even worse feeling when you're hoping all year for a perfect season, and worse yet when it happens multiple times in 1 game.

Don't worry if they do go 19-0 (and let's face it at this point they better) that will become the bitter fan's mantra. They should have lost that game. The NFL wanted it to happen so they made it happen, :blahblah:

I would agree that these THREE FOURTH DOWN ATTEMPTS topped anything i have ever seen in my entire life of watching football. They are classic and serendipity all rolled into one.

I did have a strange experience while watching these three attempts thou.

All game i am screaming at the TV and throwing things, but as these plays unfolded i was completely clam. It was eerie, i remember thinking after the second death defying 4th down play, WF am i dying or what, because i was not stressed or angry or scared that the Pats were going to lose, i just somehow knew it was all going to come out as a win.

So just maybe this experience made these THREE DEATH DEFYING ATTEMPTS by the Pats, for me the best from what has been so far A SEASON FOR THE AGES.

Either the double pass or the Gaffney catch against the Ravens. These were when the team was struggling the most, and pivotal moments in both games.

The double pass is what I'll think of years from now about this year, but the Ravens game as a whole is what makes this team special.

Being at that Ravens game was the weirdest experience. Every time Brady came to the sideline, he was within 15' of me. He was calm. The dude never flinched. Even warming up for that last drive. It's like the Bill's defensive coordinator said commenting on that same drive: "He was just, 'Hey, I'm going to go out and do this. It's Brady time.'"

When they went back out for that final drive, I had three heart attacks, just like you and everyone else, but at the same time, I felt exactly what Moss said he felt: Brady's out there, we'll win this.

Like being in the eye of a hurricane. Or that split second of avoiding a car crash. That's just about the only way I can describe it.

That whole Ravens game was one of drinking heavily and sitting on the very edge of the couch. The backs of my legs and the sciatic nerves hurt for a frikkin' day after that game.

However, that Jabar catch last weekend where it looked like Miami picked it was stunning. So was Maroney.

Regardless of how this whole season ends, I am more than satisfied with the sheer VOLUME of great plays to remember and discuss. I am so famned happy to be alive and a Pats fan. After 35 years of hollering at and for them, this year is simply hearts. :rocker:

If i could explain i would, as i said during it i thought if must be dying because i was so calm and the events i was witnessing were anything but calm, that was why i wondered if i was dying or something.

The calmness came to me, i did not control it, i merely experienced it. It was eerie and peaceful at the same time.

I'd have to say the first bomb to Moss against the Rats.It set the tone for the season and put to rest all those rumors of Moss being cut.

I also vote for the bomb to Moss in the first Jets game, when I read the thread title before I opened the thread that's the one I thought of. I saw Jaworski analyze it on NFL Matchup later and it left an impression... Moss was on the right hashmark when Brady released the ball and caught it all the way over in the left corner of the field. Amazing.
