you should go to www.computers.org and download the bandwith attachment that is present at the bottom of the page. There you can do a little "ram searching" and try to re-coagulate the bios of your system's hard drive. The nano-machines that come preinstalled on your 60 "gig" megabyte system disk are PLENTY to watch sopcast. All you have to do next is reboot ms-dos and then reconfigure your modem and desensitize the manifold in your system's memory.

i'd go a little further into it but i know a lot about computers and i don't want to confuse anyone or make you guys feel like stupid idiots.

Where will it be available online? I hear that it will only be on the NFL network.

with the squeelers out of the way we are witnessing history.

FOR GAMES ON THE NFLN, U DO NOT NEED SOPCAST, NFL.COM PROVIDES THE GAMES SHOWN ON NFLN ONLINE BY THEMSELVES, JUST GO TO NFL.COM WHEN THE GAME IS SUPPOSED TO START, AND THERE SHOULD BE A POPUP AT THE TOP OF HTE PAGE, SAYING YOU CAN WATCH IT LIVE...

most reliable and legal, its wut i would recommend for nfln games

(u cant avoid the whole "lets watch announcers talk instead of watch the game" bit though)

Except it isn't the full game. I tried to use it to watch the Dallas/GreenBay game and they kept cutting out of th game to talk abuot the game as it was happening. You miss big chunks of the actual game then get about a minute of game footage before they go back to the studio to talk again.

The best bet to see the game is sopcast. Someone will have it up there come game time, they always do.

yup, i noticed that too.....but i was of the opinion that sopcast did the same thing....

so ur saying that in sopcast u dont miss the game b/c some bozos are talking? thanks for the info....sopcast it is

i watched in on nfl.com, and man.....was it annoying as hell

Sopcast is just a streaming of the actual game. It has about a minute lag but everything that happens on the television you get on sopcast. It's nothing like the nfl.com programing.

I'm really disappointed that wasn't rick astley.

What PWES said. I have a connection that runs at about 5.5 Meg on average and it plays OK on that. I don't know how well sopcast does on 1 or 2 meg.

I have DSL, and its only 1 meg at best. The SOP quality really depends on the quality of the feed, and is good enough to run full screen if the feed is good.
