Phillip Rivers and several Chargers players seen taunting the Denver Broncos after their win tonight... waving goodbye and talking smack.

So I expect LT to come out tonight and lambaste his own team for being classless in the win.

I also expect Steve Young and Mike Ditka to come on ESPN and talk about how classless an act it was for Rivers and his teammates to taunt an inferior team like that.

I mean, it's only fair, right ?

Nothing wrong with guys razzing a young QB to break him into the league. They are seeing what he is made of. When did the NFL become an arena for sensitivity and holding hands? Trash talking during a game goes on among players of every team. To pretend like "my team doesn't do it and when other teams do it it means they are scum," is ignorant, laughable and naive. Didn't we see Rodney taunting the Ravens head coach and Tom getting in the face of a defensive player after he threw a touchdown pass? That stuff is part of the game, during the game. Once the game is over you go shake hands and forget about it.

Well, I would imagine that since the Broncos got their asses handed to them 41-3 in the first meeting and were also suffocated in round two I guess they should not have been trash-talking tonight....you think?

even if he did do something, it wouldnt be right. If Brady did it..i would say something. I know Brady calls out some players like Anthony Smith and says somethign to him but Rivers makes a big deal...goes on about it for 5 minutes from sideline shouting across..using hand gestures, etc

I love how most of the public is all over San Diego as of late. I even had a buddy of mine who is not a Pats fan say we better watch out because they're a threat to us.

Guys let the public kiss their ass, hopefully they drive the line down if we do meet to where we can pound our Patriots in addition to watching them beat their asses like they did earlier in the year.

Actually there is a difference between trash talking during a game and after the game is over. Trash talking is a psychological ploy to try to disrupt the focus of your opponent and get them off their game. Once the game is over there is no reason to trash talk. if you trash talk immediately after a game you are just being an idiot or maybe you are just emotionally immature.
