Hey, awesome! Thanks. I always think of you as the Media Man around here....you are always so up to date with this stuff.:)

i take that as a compliment although it could also mean i have less stuff to do than others :)

The other night on NFL network, there was a brief part of this, I think it was this interview.. afterwards that idiot Marshall Faulk said something to the effect that he could not wait for it, as he wants to find out about BB.. what a tool.

OTOH, if BB trusts the interviewer and the interviewer does not aske stupid questions he is a pretty good at it.. kinda like when he is on the big show, lots of stuff he does not want to answer.. but ask him a football question and he will run with it.

i think that was a different interview

Yeah, I think they said they are going to air that entire interview on the 3 hour(!) pregame Saturday.

Hope this isn't hijacking the thread but patriotsdaily.com had a great link to a story about BB and Tony Gonzalez at last year's Pro Bowl that gave a little insight into BB's dealing with players, even how he approached a Pro Bowler who didn't block when he was on the kickoff team....

Just a great interview.

Great observation and acknowledgement from Cowher. When you have a coach of Cowher's reputation and stature give recognition to Belichick on how he learned from him during the streak, it puts into perspective the drivel that comes out of the mouth of the Marshall Faulks and Tom Jacksons and Felgers of the media.

Good job Bill. Looking foward to the future answer to those 3 questions.

Thanks for posting the Utube link!

No, it means you are better at keeping up with a massive amount of coverage than the rest of us!:)

I definitely got the sense from the Tom Curran interview that BB plans to give an interview where he gives some answers on spygate at the end of the year.

do you really, honestly believe that he will ever give anyone any more information on the subject? i wish it were true, but it goes against everything i know about the man.

Like allowing a reporter to sit in on an entire year of meetings, practices and game reviews? He would never, ever do a thing like that. Ever!

And then allow that reporter to write a book about it? Definitely not gonna happen. I'll eat my hat when Bill Belichick allows some reporter to do that.

That's almost as unlikely as him allowing someone to not only write a biography about him, but actually let said biographer interview him.

It was a good interview, didnt show anything new to most of us die -hard Pats fans.....yes ,he does have a heart...no,he wont provide sound or video bites for eternal replay when something goes wrong, and I cant think of a living person with more knowledge of this game, history and x's and o's.Also he coaches the team we root for.....nice..!

Thanks to this thread and those who were kind enough to give the link.

After spygate, I stopped tuning to anything that has go to do with the 'experts' giving their thoughts and so had no idea about this.

or a book after he retires...if he dishes, he'll get a big seven figure advance

what a fraud/prick, all of a sudden this jerk is media friendly?

Sorry every coach isn't a warm, cheerful, bumbling oaf like Wade. :bricks: Apparently you know nothing about the man. Belichick happens to be "media friendly" with very particular reporters; this isn't really anything new it's just on a national scale.

Bill appears to be a depressed little kid whos finally excited about being in the spotlight after being over shadow by Dungy and Peyton for years, lol @ him smiling after every questions lmao

The spotlight has been squarely on Belichick many more times than Dungy and Peyton. The Superdome, Reliant Stadium and ALLTEL Stadium have pretty big spotlights, actually.
