Congrats on your season. I just had a quick question. Do you think the pats will rest their starters because that may give us the only longshot chance of winning this game otherwise we will be blown out. Not here to talk crap just to congratulate you on a superb season and good luck at history.

We will not rest our starters. You have no chance in hell winning this game on Saturday.

enjoy your first round loss in the playoffs.

Patriots won't rest their starters, but the Giants should and probably will since they are dinged up and have no bye week.

Actually I like our chances in the playoffs for some strange reason we are a very good road team going to tampa in warm weather where Eli plays his best. I think we go possible 2nd rd exit for a change maybe 3rd round depending who we get. No way in hell we make the big show. Like I said no need to talk trash I am not a troll just wanted a honest opinion.

Yeah I hope they bench Eli for this game I dont know what is wrong w/ this kid. If it werent for our rbs we would have lost in buffalo.

The GMen can play tough football. Esp if the weather is cold, or wet. I dont think PatsFans should get too comfortable....

To your question, "we will do what we always do". oh, and "it is what it is".
Does that help?

I'll be in the Meadowlands for the first time on Sat night. Any tips on parking, tailgating, avoiding the Whackos...??

As far as I'm concerned.. NFC is wide open. Green Bay is beatable, Dallas is beat up, as long as Seattle keeps involving Alexander in the gameplan they'll lose, and this isn't Tampa of '02-'03 out there. Good luck to you.

The problem with the kid is that he is not getting the coaching he needs to excell. He still throws off his back foot a LOT. His ability to read is not where it should be. It's time for the "Gints" to bring someone in to exclusivly work with Eli. He could be a force with the right coaching...

Comments welcomed.....................

stopping the Giants running game could be a challenge as well as containing the pass rush. light had a bad day yesterday.

Parking will be a pain since the new stadium is going up. You will most likely have to park about a 15 min walk away and catch a bus to the game. Tailgates all over the place and most fans will let you tailgate w/ them there are a few to avoid ie the drunk ones causing problems. Park in a garage w/ secutrity is your best bet.

Hi Giants Fan,

Nobody (so far) has dissed you - as long as you keep the humility. As previously stated, the Pats play straight up football and like to keep their starters fresh. Of course we have 33 starters with our second string rotations into the game. Every one of them in our second string could get a starting position in the NFC.

Congratulations to the Giants for their year to date. If you make it to round two, it will be a great accomplishment. As for the Pats, they ware waiting to get Manning the elder in the AFC championship game - IN FOXBORO.:D

I don't think the starters will rest, but some of them could be pulled out in the third quarter. Belichick's done it both ways, though he usually leans towards playing the starters.

That was my opinion to. Bring in a qb coach but fore some reason the giants just arent doing it. I see some good things out of Eli just more bad than good right now. If he could be consistent I think this team would be a force.

How do you see this game going? I know they won the last couple of years but they have a ton of injuries now. IMO Brady and the elder Manning are the best qbs in the league and I love to watch these 2 duel.

If the Pats get up 14 points then the starters are yanked. If it's a close game at halftime then the G-men would like to pull a '98 Denver style upset. How's Jacobs healthwise?

First of all it's an honor to speak to the Giants #1 fan. I'm interested to hear about the competition which gave you that title.

Actually I'd ask the same question of you - do the Giants really have that much to play for now that they've clinched a playoff spot? Aren't they better off resting their starters not having a bye week?

Jacobs should be ready to play he hurt his ankle yesterday but nothing major and he says he is fine. I am really hoping they play Bradshaw after watching him yesterday we could have another Tiki on our hands.

I would say no because they are so inconsitent right now and imo resting them might actually hurt them in the long run. Do i see us beating the pats? Not a chance in hell but as the saying goes any given sunday.

I think Belichick does what is necessary to get the perfect season. He wants it and the players want it. To be honest, this may be the last year he can do it with this team. The defense is showing a few cracks due to age and they have some decisions to make for next year on their free agents. They are not going to play for peanuts. Salary cap can be a *****.
