I don't think the starters will rest, but some of them could be pulled out in the third quarter. Belichick's done it both ways, though he usually leans towards playing the starters.Congrats on your season. I just had a quick question. Do you think the pats will rest their starters because that may give us the only longshot chance of winning this game otherwise we will be blown out. Not here to talk crap just to congratulate you on a superb season and good luck at history.
Hi Giants Fan,
Nobody (so far) has dissed you - as long as you keep the humility. As previously stated, the Pats play straight up football and like to keep their starters fresh. Of course we have 33 starters with our second string rotations into the game. Every one of them in our second string could get a starting position in the NFC.
Congratulations to the Giants for their year to date. If you make it to round two, it will be a great accomplishment. As for the Pats, they ware waiting to get Manning the elder in the AFC championship game - IN FOXBORO.

If the Pats get up 14 points then the starters are yanked. If it's a close game at halftime then the G-men would like to pull a '98 Denver style upset. How's Jacobs healthwise?
First of all it's an honor to speak to the Giants #1 fan. I'm interested to hear about the competition which gave you that title.
Actually I'd ask the same question of you - do the Giants really have that much to play for now that they've clinched a playoff spot? Aren't they better off resting their starters not having a bye week?
