Just a light-hearted thread before the games get really important.

This year I'd probably go with Hobbs or Maroney (and no... I didn't make this thread as some sort of deception in order to start another Maroney bashing). Although I actually haven't been too thrilled with what I've seen from Seymour either, and Jarvis always impresses me more.

What do you think?

It is a Maroney bashing thread.

Do you mean regular starter? I'd say Kaczur.

I'd go with NSA, but drew4008 is definitely in the discussion.

LOL, good one. A friend who comes by to watch the Pat's game every Sunday absolutely LOATHES Kevin Faulk. I just don't understand it.
We were arguing about that today.

My vote goes to Ellis Hobbs.

EASILY Nick Kaczur. He is a freaking turnstile.

Light looks pretty bad sometimes as well, mostly against speed rushers...but Kaczur looks downright stupid...

That Brady guy.

Randy Moss. He's a bad teammate. I mean, he doesn't even celebrate!

^^^^^^

6th round bust. Bum. Should be holding the video camera.

I agree with Kazcur.

Yup. Kaczur is mediocre on a good day and a liability on bad ones. I really hope in the early part of the 2nd day they get a tackle prospect.

I'll probably go to hell for saying this, but I think it's Bruschi. At this point in his career he should be a sub and not a frontline starter. The biggest weakness in the Pats this year is their run defense, I think, and the old ILBs are the most obvious cause.

there's no way Kaczur is better than Bruschi right now, no matter what, any way that you look at it.

Candidates include:

DB -- Hobbs
LB -- Bruschi
DL -- nobody, really
OL -- Kaczur
Offensive skill position -- Maroney, Watson (who is the sixth starter anyway -- Gaffney? Evans? K. Brady?)

It's got to be one of Hobbs, Bruschi, or Kaczur, as they each give up some plays to the other team without doing much in the way of positive plays themselves.

I would definitly have to say Brady... he's horrible at losing games.

Well I know who my Dad would say, Matt Light. After watching him today against Jason Taylor I would tend to agree. It just seems like everytime Brady gets nailed its from Light's side.

I think they should go after a tackle in the draft as well and move Light over to right tackle away from the opposing defense's best pass rusher.

Kaczur is worse than PMS and cramps combined.

I don't get the Hobbs criticisms. He's gotten thrown on, sure, but he's a solid starting #2 CB in my book. Considering that Asante seems to get a lot fewer passes his way Hobbs is tested more often and I think he does a better job than Kazcur or Bruschi at their respective positions at this point.

Brady ... well at least about 5 members in the game thread today thought so.
