How many TDs do you think Brady would have if he played in a dome?

If and when Brady surpasses Manning's record I'm sure you're still going to hear from all kinds of people who will still insist Manning is somehow better than Brady

I'm sure they won't acknowlege that this season is the FIRST TIME Brady's ever had a 1000 yard receiver playing for him (Branch came close) and now we have a chance to see what he can do with WRs of the caliber that Manning's always had.

Another factor is the weather - and the number of games Brady has played in the wind and rain at Gillette this season. Last week is a good example and today's conditions aren't perfect either.

If Brady played all his home games in a dome I think you could add quite a few more TD's to his hopeful record - but most football anal-ists will ignore that I'm sure.

I'd say 55 TD's.

They'll complain about Brady's garbage time TD's over anything else... which will proceed to piss me off more than anything else.

Manning will only be better than Brady in commercial appearances. I can live with that.

Plus Brady will have 50+ and Manning-backers can't guarantee he would throw that many in 16 games so the record will be Brady's without argument :D

I don't need to see Brady break the TD record to know he is a better QB than Manning. He is most likely going to break it next week....and Colt fans will say Manning did it in 15 games.....but those clowns don't factor in two important factors.

Manning did it in a dome.....and most importantly did it with receivers he had many seasons to work with. Brady is going to have the record playing in bad weather (see Jets, Ravens, and most likely Giants game) to end the season....and he is doing it with receivers he has only been playing with for 1 year.

I am also more impressed with the TD to INT ratio than anything.

Brady will win the record. Why?

1. Garbage time TD's.

2. A coach who puts his qb in harms way for records.

3. How many more attemps has brady had this year compared to Peyton's?

Yup. Yawn.:bricks:

how many more RINGS does Brady have than Peytie?

yup...thought so...yawwwwwwnnnnn:bricks:

Yeah, but Brady converts more drives into TD's, and actually hands it off in the red zone from time to time. The Colts only had 10 rushing TD's in '04, the Pats have at least 16.

Well one thing that will be brought up is the fact that manning didnt play the second half of the game of week 16 and didnt play at all week 17.

Manning also had many games where he didnt play in the 4th quarter.

Funny, the only people I hear mention that are pathetic interntet Colt fans who constantly say it. They are desperately trying to hold on to the 1 thing they have that supposedly made their precious horse face better than Tom.

Actually, both Moss and Brady's record will be rather unimpressive when/if they break it. Moss because Rice only did it in 12 games, and Brady because Manning only did it in 14 and a half games. It's ok, Brady and Moss just aren't good enough to do it in the same time span as them. They're inferior.

Trolling, the only refuge for the terminally mediocre.

you're correct...where you screw up is that we KNOW that...here's something Colt fan always has a hard time grasping...three Super Bowls is better than one

Wow, lots of troll posts on this thread. They really care about this record... makes me want to see Brady break Manning's record even more.

They're the exact same posts you would be making if situations were reversed. Well yours would be less articulate and would have more grunting, but basically the same.

It depends on which games were home games, and where and when the away games.

This year it turned out that they went away-heavy early (good weather) and returned home to some pretty bad weather. If that same pattern had been used with a dome then I'd say 55 wouldn't be too outrageous.

So if a receiver breaks Moss's record, assuming he gets it, in 20 games, that's the same as Moss doing it in 16? Has it been dumbed down enough for you yet?

when brady and moss break the record on the same play, WHO GETS THE BALL?

It's not trolling when what you say is true!:D

8 games in a dome= a much bigger chance to put up bigger numbers

sorry buddy but Payton is no where near brady's league.
