We are spoiled, I will admit it...

I never say Brady sucks,

I do say pathetic, and other words, because it was pathetic in the second half.. But again I do think we let off the gas pedal....
The defense was pathetic in the second half? ST was pathetic in the second half? The running game was pathetic in the second half? There was only one phase of the game that we did poorly on in the second half which was the passing game. Big deal.

In those threads, its just bad that we as fans see something wrong like Brady pressing and the O just playing like they had no care in the world, and we cant critique it ... Im as happy as a clam that next week we are playing for something no team beside the 72 Dolphins can say.. This has been special, but I want all the records..

Bingo....we have bingo.......!!! We have the rose colored glass wearers where EVERYTHING is great.....perfect......we won.....how could you see anything possibly wrong there???? You are not a good fan.......etc

Then you have the REALISTS....the realists see it for what it is .....GOOD and BAD.......they realize that while we did win a game....there were some components of our team's performance that were not firing on all cylinders....Not ALL players out there played ALL FOUR quarters......BB is a REALIST......I am a realist.....thank gawd........

Am I spoiled.....? Of course.......I think we all are......Can I see some things about today's game that worry me as we head into the playoffs against the Colts, Jags, or Chargers? Yep.........realist........

Look we are spliting hairs here, Brady has trouble with Miami, with the exception of the oct game.. The defense was facing Cleo Lemon, so I was never worried.. But we played sloppy in the second half.. But again splitting hairs.. The point is 15-0. And we are moving to the greatness next week.. But the bottom line is Super Bowl lets not forget that..

I didn't see most of the first half as the bastard links wouldn't load but the game was finished by half time by the sounds of it. As a future coach (not in football, well, your football) if the game was practically finished at half time I wouldn't send the guys out all guns blazing in the second. What is the point? Just play a solid second half and see the game through, minimalise fatigue and injuries. Just a relaxed Patriots, lower intensity and seeing it through. Maybe try a few new things whilst you have the opertunity to.

In my short time here I have noticed some unfair comments, a few knee-jerks but thats what fans do. It's not just elements of the pats fan base. Just the nature of sports fans and something your gonna get anywhere.

I think what he is getting at....is that it may be a big deal in the playoffs when all the chips are on the line.....better not be having a problem with the passing game or stopping the run (not that we had a problem stopping the doofins RB's much today....but overall we have been suspicious)....during the playoffs............that would be a big deal.....

If all this was true and you "knew" it, why the hell didn't you just make one comment about it and then move on instead of crying about it for an entire half? As you point out, the team is 15-0. They deserve better than supposed fans crying and moaning every moment they don't play as if they were gods.

Ive have moved on, its you that seems to think we are crying about it, and besides I want the team playing its best going into the playoffs.. The D played good, but was not happy with Brady and the passing game, but its over we won lets focus on the Giants..

I get your point.....but while BB was getting roasted for "running up" the score and never taking his foot off the gas pedal.....I GOT what he was doing.....he was grooving his team for the playoffs.....You don't let UP on the other guy during the playoffs......you don't ever COAST thinking.....OH well....we're up by 21 late in the 3rd quarter,......let's run 3 plays up the gut and punt......etc

I think NOW is the time to establish your mindset for the playoffs........Hell put the backups in if that is what you want to do......BUT let THEM play for something.....and let them get some EXPERIENCE while you are at it......

I know Brady was struggling in the second half....and was going for/Waiting to set up the BIG TIME play/homerun.......but I am a little perplexed at what exactly they were trying to accomplish there......
Anyways.....Overall....GREAT WIN....LoMo and the defense split the game ball!!!!..GO PATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would have "liked" a lot of things. I would have "liked" to see Maroney throw a 99 yard touchdown pass to an eligible Matt Light. Not getting it wasn't a problem WITH THE PATRIOTS WINNING BY A FINAL SCORE OF 28-7 and the game being over at the half. You people who were crying are the same ingrates who'll get a free 11 course meal at the finest restaurant in the nation and then complain that the dessert menu only had 5 choices.

Being a fan for many fans of the Patriots, and every other team, includes being ametuer GM's or HC's or even sometimes OC's. That's been true since famdom 1st started. Whenever that was -:) If some fans just want to never critisize anything that's fine. Or if they want the team to play better that's fine. Some fans want to be ametuer HC's and others may want to be ametuer cheerleaders. And some are somewhere in between. I do know that no fan has any right to say what kind of fan someone else should be. Kind of like someone trying to say what a real American is. There's no such thing.

I don't give a rat's ass what you or anyone else decide to complain about, for the most part. I do care when it ruins the game thread of a 14-0 team just because people can't exercise a little impulse control, however. To read some of the crap in the game threads the past few weeks, you'd think the Patriots were 8-7 and struggling to get into the playoffs.

Which goes to my original thread.. We are spoiled in winning games 56-10 every week.. And that is what sometimes we expect against a lesser opponent.

I agree, we are spoiled fans.
I mean, what could be better right now. The team is 15-0 and we can find ways to knit pick. Maybe because they haven't actually won the superbowl since 04.

Sometimes you just have to be smart and assess whats infront of you. Belichick isn't dumb enough to have his team play hard and high emotionaly all season long. Players not only will be physically jaded but emotionally. Emotionally drained can be worse than physically. Coasting is not how I'd put it as you read. You still want them to retain focus and play a solid game but relax a little, less intensity because it'll help them down the line when it does come down to it. Which it will do.
