for those who live in New England - what do the local stations say about the weather for kickoff and beyond. In NY they say the storm will start around 4pm or later.....

Sunday
Cloudy with drizzle & fog then rain crashes the party around 7 pm. Breezy & milder with highs in the 40s. Plan on some patchy drizzle for Patriots tailgating with some steadier rain possible by the end of the game (Pats by 21).

Sunday Night
Brief shot of steady rain---most towns get a quick .50" of rain, might even here a clap of thunder. Cloudy after midnight. Temps hover in the middle 40s all night!

Intermittent light rain starting around 1pm,heavy rain with downpours possible commencing around 6pm.

High winds, gusting to 50mph at peak of storm from 6-11pm.

Warming temps to a high of 52.

They say the rain may be like thunderstorms, but
not until 6pm or later,so we may get lucky.

Basically a really ****ty day.

Basically a really ****ty day.

Looks like TB and RM,WW, DS will have to hookup about 5 times before the half, and Pats up 35-0. Then all the rain will come.

Destiny cannot be changed. Mannings record is going down ! :rocker:

Re: Whats the latest forecast.....

The latest forecast is a Dolphins ass whippin lol :rocker:

Re: Whats the latest forecast.....

Checked about 4 forecasts this AM, not much consistency.. some say 40% chance of rain, another says there is a high wind warning.. that other says rain all day.. need to know now..

Re: Whats the latest forecast.....

Things look ok. NECN just gave it's gametime forecast:

45 degrees, mild with light rain/drizzle, very playable weather for Tommy and the wideouts. The nasty winds and heavier rain are going to hold off until after the game, it worked out great. WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, LAND HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!

My forecast: a Pats azz kicking of the hapless Phins! :D

Or in the words of Clubber Lang...."Pain!"

Re: Whats the latest forecast.....

It would be great to see Brady attain the TD record this game, but the weather may once again slow him down. Although I think he's good for three against the 'Phins in any weather. If any good comes out of these two games, it will help everyone acclimate to these conditions and a possible scenario of meeting up with the Colts in late January. I believe these 2 games will be a blessing in disguise if that game is also in ugly weather.

Re: Whats the latest forecast.....

I am driving up from NYC with a mild fever and heavy cold just to see the game (and intend driving back).

Hopefully the weather holds up and we have a nice W without any injuries, and, I get to see us break a few records for my effort! :D

They're reducing the forecast the closer to the game it gets. Now during the game its "FewShowers". Temperature will be fine. Winds will be ~15 which isn't ideal but isn't terrible. It doesn't look ominous on the South Shore

Hopefully it stays the way it is right now: Warm & no wind...

Forecast on the Patriots pre game show has Zo predicting 5 wide.

Winds may begin to pick up in the second half, gusting to 25. But the heavy rain is now predicted to hold off until around 8PM.

Just heard the lastest forecast...rain moving to 7-8 PM.

There will be some light drizzle during the game likely. Temps 45-50, with 12-15 MPH wind gusts that pick up around 6-7 PM.

Doesn't seem too bad. We still have a very cloudy foggy day out there, but by 4 PM, it will clear a bit (the fog that is).

Great - sounds good. I'm starting to sense a big game from Brady & co...:)

Well, I just drove through the bad weather on my way from PA to MA. It's pretty ugly. Hopefully it moves slowly and holds off.

if we can keep updating this thread, out-of-towners like myself would be very grateful. Thanks!
