I would love to see this, having Romeo come back. He has done a great job in Cleveland. He was awesome for us.

That is just a game I would like to see. Anderson is playing well. Willie would be coming back to town.

I haven't seen them play this year either.

Who's to say they couldn't beat Pitt with Parker now out for the year.

So we could destroy them and wreck their future?

Yeah, that would be nice.:D

I am loving watching the Browns and what they are doing and am thrilled for Romeo. With that being said, I want no part of them in the playoffs. I do not want to be the ones that ends this ride for them.

Ever stop to think that Browns + snow just might = REAL trouble?

The thought has creeped in. I just think their defense wouldn't do quite enough to stop us. I absolutely respect them though.

I have thought of this EXACT sentiment T.

I am still somewhat not worried, when it mattered we were good against the run this year.

Heavy rain and high winds may be an equalizer to some extent...but snow favors NE, bigtime.

They have practiced quite a bit in it and if you read the comments by Brady and some of his teammates a week or so ago, you would realize just how much of an advantage snowy conditons will play to NE strength.

This team is destined to go 19-0.

I would be a little nervous about The Brownies in the play-off's. The game was much closer than what the final score read when they played us here earlier this year. They were able to move the ball down field quickly, and that was without Jamal Lewis.

I think it would be a good game personally.
DA is probably a lot more comfortable in the offense than he was when the Pats beat them the first time.
Jamal Lewis is back, and he's a bruising runner.

Defense would still be their weakness, but in crappy weather, <25 is enough to win.

I know the Browns are inexperienced ,but they could be trouble in the playoffs.. Romeo will give us fits..

Ummm, these are the same Cleveland Browns that we beat 34-17 this year, correct?

You know what's funny about the Browns? Most teams we played went on to lose and have a "Pats Hangover". Not the Browns, they just got better and kept on winning. That game must have instilled a lot of confidence.

First off, unless Pitt loses to Baltimore the Browns are the 6th seed and will go to SD the first week if SD wins it's last two.

About the Browns - they have 9 wins and one of them is against a team currently over .500. Anderson is OK but he has one of the lowest completion% in the league and his QB rating is below Pennington's. Oh, and they have one of the worst defenses in the league. Plus we led them 20-0 at halftime last time. And they'd be coming off a tough game against Pitt or SD.

No concern to me. Only Indy worries me.

I think the seeding is going to be: #6 Browns vs #3 SD, and #5 Jags vs #4 Pitt. I think both lower seeds will win. Then the next round will be Browns in Foxboro and Jags at Indy. We could see the Jags in the AFCC game.

40yr:
I agree with the seedings, but I see SD handling Cleveland, and us getting the Jags (the current team 'built' to beat the Pats)

I'm not sure the Browns are stopping Tomlinson but if it works out like that, I would be happy with our first round opponent having to make a long west coast trip before heading way east.

There's some irrepressible little part of me that is silently rooting for a GB v. CLE super bowl. Of course I want the Pats to win, but that would be so cool.

That would be completely NOT COOL!!

The Pats not in the SB would be the furthest thing from "cool" that i could imagine... kinda like "HELL".

I want to play GB in the SB... Because I want some sweet revenge from '97. Im still holding that grudge. I hate Favre.. I would love to shatter the dreams of the GB faithful, and make Peter King puke in the process.
