I’m actually very intrigued by this NFL Network match up tonight. Certainly looking foward to watching. For the following reasons...

Rams win takes them out of the 3 Win Team club, thus leaving only the Jets and Falcons as the two teams ahead of the 49ers for the #2 spot. Rams win is huge for our draft pick.

As for the Steelers, with a loss they are on the verge of...

A) Not winning the divison
If they are to lose this game, and Cleveland is to finish 2-0 (I’d say more then likely) Cleveland will be the 2007 AFC North Division Champions. Imagine that? After the Week 1 spanking the Steelers put on the then seemingly abysmal Browns, who would have told you they'd win the division, great stuff.

B) Not making the playoffs.
This would take two lossses, paired with the Titans winning their final two games. Then it would come down to tie-breakers. Yeah, this probably isn’t happening, but just something to keep an eye on I suppose.

If they lose this game tonight, I’d be very confident that the Browns will take the division. Go Rams. You’re playing for our draft pick and Steelers embarrassment tonight.

I really want the Rams to UPSET the Steelers. I'd LOVE it because it would be one more step back for them.. and one step closer to the Browns moving up.

Heh, a team that was just a few weeks ago looking for the #2 seed could be on the verge of being in the midst of a 3 game losing streak and playing for a 6th spot.

St Louis has had some bad injuries..but NOW they may make a statement on TV... The Steelers are reeling..need a win OR..they could be looking on the outs..

Bob Costas is an idiot. "The Colts should've won that game, turn around any one of a number of plays and they win." Well no kidding.... take away the Addai run and the Pats win large. Sherlock Holmes here can't just say the Pats won and they did what they needed to win.

Peyton and the Colts haven't been the same team since then and injuries are used as an excuse. They were psychologically damaged.

The Pats really mess a team up after they play them and the team gets off track and starts to lose.

Ready to Gumbel.

the StL D must be a horrible unit...beat deep on the first play from scrimmage?

Pittsburgh's first play for 83 yards.

Rams go 3 and out
Steelers drive 97 yards for a TD.

Great.

nice D...3 plays..TD

if they play 30 snaps they'll give up 70 points at this rate

Big Ben 2 for 2 for 100 yards and a TD. That's how you start a game.

4 plays, they're not that good. ;)

Big Ben is murder on 3-11 teams..they should give him the MVP right now

Nice return for the Rams there.

Let's see how the O responds.

Willie Parker to the locker room

dropping like flies all year in Pitt

TD Rams! 7-7

Very nice looking drive, Jackson looks great.

We have a game folks.

Somehow I feel that if we would have drafted Santonio Holmes (even though we had no shot at him), he would have been a star by now. But Hamstrings might still do something. Might.

Let's try to stop Holmes tonight, please?

2 catches for 106 yards already...
