Early in the season the problem predicting scores was every week the Pats offsense seemed to click even better. Now the problem is: what will the weather be like?

Most predicted with their heart, going for a rodent extermination. The weather reports got ominous enough, though, that as the game got closer so did the predictions. Robdude got the Jets score right but still missed the total by 4. IndianPat, Tunescribe, and I were only a FG away. But one prediction came closer, missing by just a point...

Season Standings

No change in the top three, but patsfanofNC12's lead had another 5 points sliced away. Lots of prediction changes as the weather became more apparent. VJCPatriot changed his prediction twice, and got 18 points closer than he would have been, staying tied for second. solman stayed in fourth by shaving 11 points off his first prediction (but his final prediction got 3 points worse). But Bostonian1962 in fifth place made a last second change which cost him 8 points: you can't always believe the TV when it comes to weather.

Will the Dolphins game be any easier to predict? Check the forecast, I doubt it! And down the stretch they come...

Until I actually read the first page of the Contest thread two weeks ago, I didn't realize that the results were being tracked. Doesn't matter; I think I would have been way off on some of the earlier games, anyway. Now the scores are becoming easier to predict, esp. if BB, Skippy and TB stubbornly insist on attempting the same plays that worked in September and October. Just as long as TB breaks Payaton's record (preferably to Troy Brown), I wouldn't mind seeing 40 running plays, 25 passing plays, and a 10 minute TOP advantage for the rest of the season.
