Man I hope K. Brady is healthy in 3 weeks! We're going to need both a healthy K Brady and Ben Watson in the playoffs.

I'd be surprised if we saw him next week but we could use him as the Giants have a very good 4-man pass rush and blitz a lot on top of that.

K. Brady was walking with a limp yesterday. It doesn't sound like his return is imminent but if his readiness for the playoffs were in doubt he wouldn't be walking on it right now.

Good point. Probably not much to fear there.

And as much as we all want 16-0, I think K. Brady is one guy that shouldn't be rushed out there by any means. We're thin at TE, and he's played an important role all season. Teams are starting to have a little more success against our 4-wide spread, I think ultimately our most successful formation in the playoffs is going to be 3-wide with Brady in there to block.

Probably...but remember Dave Thomas playing on his foot? IR

Brady is 35. They need to be careful with him.

Saw Adalius Thomas today in Boston at B+W hospital - his wife is giving birth. I'm assuming this is the team decision and he's not hurt.

Nice...Congrats to AD!!!

I'm sure that's it, then. Team decision, in the new injury reports, means that the player was not hurt and was given the day off. Sometimes this is for rest, other times for personal reasons.

I'm not too worried about Brady. He'll be fine for the playoffs. Hopefully Watson comes along better, too.

It's 4 weeks with the bye, isn't it?

Either way, though we won't be resting healthy starters the next two weeks, my bet would be that we'll be pretty conservative in terms of people playing through injuries. I think K.Brady, Watson and Neal will all be given time to get healed up, and go out and maul over opposing defenders come the playoffs.

Yeah, their already sizeing him for his walker and rocking chair. The prune juice, metamusile, and depends are on the way. :D Man I wish I was 35 again. But when I was 35 I was saying that I wished I was 25. So it goes. Harry Boy would vote for Kucinich if he could be my age again. :D

Anybody know what's up with Rivers?

Anybody know what's up with Rivers?

Rivers is home playing Madden. K. Brady has been nursing some unspecified chronic injury all year. Don't know if it is related to his current injury or if this is something new. Could be just a new ankle sprain (which is what Watson sounds like), but Brady sounds like it could be something else. My guess is that we will go with Spach and maybe Watson and Britt along with 4 WRs and Evans doing some blocking out of the FB position for a couple of weeks. If Brady cannot go, Rivers would be an option, but he was an option when they signed Spach so something went wrong there. I would not be surprised to see the injured get a little rest (K. Brady, Neal, Vrabel, Watson) so they are ready in January.

Sometimes it's because they can't hack it in this man's NFL!

(kidding, kidding) :D
