Bruce has been retired for almost 7 years. I really don't pay much attention to the HOF process.

Has he gotten any consideration?

14 years - 7 time All-Pro. pretty impressive to me.

O-linemen don't get much love from HOF unless they are widely publicized, no? I do agree Bruce needs a consideration. Sucks he didn't get a ring but the man deserves a recognition.

I suppose for comparison you have Hog Hannah - 13 seasons, 11 all-Pro.

Godlike.

Yeh I haven't heard much. Sometimes it takes longer for a lineman to make it to the hall, unless they are a big name like John Hannah. There was some mention of character issues with Armstrong in Patriot Reign, and that he got to his last couple pro bowls off reputation or whatever.

He made it to one more probowl than Hog Hannah. He was a rock on the O-line and deserves every bit of credit!

I say he's HOF material for sure!

Never cared for the guy. A clubhouse whiner. BB had no use for him.

Hannah had 9 Pro Bowls and 11 All-Pros.
Armstrong had 6 Pro Bowls and 7 All Pros.

Seven All-Pros at LT still justifies a HoF though.

offensive linemen get plenty of consideration for the hall of fame. There are more o-linemen than any other position in the hall (32 modern era to be exact). And I haven't heard of most of them.

Tip has to make it in way before even thinking about Armstrong!
