Unbelievable, not sure if this is a scam but the loss of Crowder, Porter, Taylor and Taylor.. plus Thomas is on IR leaves this team decimated with injuries on the D side of the ball. Their D was their strength somewhat, but these injuries border on the absurd... it does not make sense for this team to play games with the injury report.

Sure that Parcells will personally go to the locker room, rally the troops and give out a few lidocaine shots.. srap it on boys, win one for Wayne and Mercury.

Jason Taylor's absence would be felt in the game. I am not sure that we would miss the play of "DT Keith Taylor," or for that matter Zachary Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor, or Rip Taylor. Apparently the knee of nose tackle Keith Traylor has healed up, as he is not listed on the injury report according to Mike Reiss. That bodes ill for the Patriots offense, no?

There are two schools of thought on what Miami should do the next couple of weeks. There is the Saban approach where you go balls to the wall in hopes of gaining a meaningless victory that will translate into an irrational upbeat feeling heading into the off season (and in Cam's case maybe save your job temporarily). And there is the the bottom line approach where you protect any assets you (as the new VP of Football Ops) might be looking to trade in a month or so and evaluate talent at the back end of the roster before heading into an off season where wholesale changes may be in order.

Fran Charles was trying to sell the idea on NFLN last night that having won on Sunday in a game where the '72 team was front and center, this team would now be motivated to knock off a threat to that teams claim to fame. When he finished laughing, Jamie Duke pointed out that most of the present day Dolphins had never set eyes on those dudes before Sunday and could care less. The way this FO sold off legit young talent and retained or added aging talent makes no sense and will complicate whatever strategy they decide to persue under Tuna and whomever. This teams great nightmare ended on Sunday, and now they likely just want the season itself to be OVAH.

Looks like Sunday's game will be more of a scrimmage without the lphins key defensive players. Once again weather may introduce a wildcard score, but that's about it. Phins have packed it in. Nurse your wounds and decide who's gonna be traded for picks and players.

This franchise imploded faster than a blue supergiant core collapse.

I'd like to see 5 td's for Tom, and J. Taylor having hot chocolate with BB, discussing a fair & equitable deal to play next year for the Pats.

Isn't that Keith "Truck" Traylor?

I see a 100 yard game for Kyle Eckel coming.

With the exception of Jason Taylor I think the injury thing is totally overblown in this league. It's how motivated the team is to play that day. How many times have we seen unknown QB's or other players have a big game against the Pats. I don't care if the 3rd stringer are playing, if the Pats don't come prepared to play they will lose the game.
