My FF regular season ends after week 13. My league has the playoffs during weeks 14-16. In my 12-team league, 6 make the playoffs. The top two seeds get a bye in week 14.

I'm the #3 seed at 10-3.

The #1 seed should finish at 12-1 (I say "should" because he's behind right now, but has Brady and Moss going tonight...no wonder he's 11-1).

The #2 seed is also 10-3, but I lost the tiebreaker head-to-head against him the day his ADP ran for almost 300yds and 3 TDs vs. San Diego.

Damn, that bye would have been nice. Anyway, looking forward to defending my title.

Who else has made their FF playoffs?

Regards,
Chris

I go in 12-1, without brady or moss, and with harrison out the entire season

I get the first week bye, everyone makes our playoffs

I'm the #1 seed at 11-2. I expect to win my week 14 game to go in 12-2. :)
PatsFans Fantasy League #4: Survival of the Fittest.
I'll update the current standings and the playoff picture in the league thread.

I love my runningbacks, and the sweet thing is that I picked up two of them from free agency!

#1 Brian Westbrook
#2 Earnest Graham
#3 (Flex) Justin Fargas

There's a disappointing lack of bragging in this thread.

Anyone onto their semifinals in week 15...like me?

Regards,
Chris

Nothing is "official" until Monday night is over. So there will probably be more posts tomorrow. I will update how the playoffs went in my league thread as well.

This #3 seed knocked off the #2 seed in the semifinals and is onto the title game with the #4 seed. This just happens to be a rematch of the title game last year. I'm hoping to defend my title. If I lose, I'll be the Oakland A's of the late 80s, early 90s (3 straight title appearances, one title sandwiched by two losses).

The #1 seed was undone vs. the #4 seed thanks to Tom Brady's and Randy Moss' quiet Jets game.

Regards,
Chris

Lucky you. Yup I'm also in the finals in my league. The matchups are pretty close. I am hoping that Kevin Curtis and (gulp) Kolby Smith can produce for me. Fargas went down with a knee injury, that sucked, and Evans has not been a good play lately.

My title game matchup:

QB:............Favre (me) vs. Romo (opponent)
RB:............Westbrook vs. Tomlinson
WR:...........Wayne vs. Andre Johnson
TE:............Marcedes Lewis vs. Vernon Davis
RB/WR/TE:..Jones-Drew vs. Fred Taylor
RB/WR/TE:..TJ Housh vs. Welker
WR/TE:.......Colston vs. Anthony Gonzalez
K:..............Longwell vs. Josh Brown
IDP:...........Witherspoon vs. Fletcher
IDP:...........DeMarcus Ware vs. Ulracher
IDP:...........Kerney vs. Tatupu

I'm pretty much set with my lineup and I think my opponent is, too. We have a few options on our bench, but I don't see anything changing.

The battle of the Jacksonville RBs should be interesting. Both are up against an awful Raiders run D that's looked horrible on the road. Fred may rack up 1st-half stats, but MJD may beat those in the 2nd half. We each have an Indy WR as well. The thing that scares me the most is LT at home vs. the porous Denver run D and San Diego battling Pittsburgh for the #3 seed, so LT will probably get the bulk of the carries. If TJ Housh bounces back at home vs. a Cleveland team he and Palmer torched earlier this year, I'm in great shape. Favre is on the road as is Romo, but Favre is up against a team he faces regularly while sore-thumbed Romo is facing Carolina who shut down Seattle so I'm hoping Favre doesn't let me down.

Chris

I am in the playoffs in 2 different leagues (patsfan and a sox board)

Last week was tight on me because I had Brady and he put up 0 for me, but I pulled it out. This week could be tough as well because both leagues have Brady and the weather isn't looking good.

Here's my matchups this week: (my team is on the left)

Sox board:

QB Tom Brady v QB Drew Brees

WR Hines Ward v WR Chad Johnson

WR Braylon Edwards v WR Brandon Marshall

WR Wes Welker v WR Anquan Boldin

RB Willie Parker v RB Brian Westbrook

RB Earnest Graham v RB LaDainian Tomlinson

TE Dallas Clark v TE Chris Cooley

K Adam Vinatieri v K Mason Crosby

DEF New England v DEF Jacksonville

I have Maroney, Anothony Gonzonez, and Fred Taylor on the bench that are possible starts.

Here's my patsfans league:

QB Tom Brady v QB Matt Hasselbeck

WR Reggie Wayne v WR Roddy White

WR Randy Moss v WR Donald Driver

RB LaDainian Tomlinson v RB Adrian Peterson (Minn)

RB Aaron Stecker v RB Earnest Graham

TE Dallas Clark v TE Antonio Gates

W/R Wes Welker v W/R Rudi Johnson

K Adam Vinatieri v K Kris Brown

DEF New England v DEF Minnesota

I have stallworth, Perterson (Chi) and Crayton on the bench

I think your patsfans league team is in good shape. I'm not so sure about your sox board team (facing *both* Westbrook and Tomlinson?).

Good luck, especially with playing against LT in one league and playing with him in the other.

Chris

Ya going to be an interesting week. I care a little more about the sox board league, because there is a little more than 'bragging rights' on the line:D We'll see what happens!
