from their fantasy football leagues? Imagine this. In 2 leagues where I had Brady as my QB I finished with the best record in the standings. After having a bye week last week in both of those leagues, I come into the playoffs as a heavy favorite. I lost in both of my leagues today and all I needed was 10 points or less to win in both. Unfortunatley Brady has his worst week of the season right when I needed him to play well. Not even really play well, all I needed was a lowsy 10 points. Any one else have any unfortunate heart breaking elimination stories yet? Can any of you top Brady losing it for ya? LOL:eek:

I'll know more after facing Adrian Peterson on MNF, but if I lose by less than 6, it will be because Brian Westbrook decided to drop himself down at the one instead of walking in for an easy TD. I think _that_ would top Brady's subpar performance in bad weather.

Regards,
Chris

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Think that might top that, lol. It's close though. Bardy is usually good for 10 points even if there's a hurricane outside.

I won by 20 despite Romo ****tin the bed

Winning by 40 points in my playoff matchup. So unless something unexpected happens, I don't have any story to share yet. I do regret cutting Andre Johnson after he got hurt. He came back sooner than expected after his injury and is now tearing up the league again. Hopefully this move doesn't come back to haunt me. :)

I held onto the guy, its been a great pay off

Totally hosed is what i got, like you i have rolled through the year beating some teams by twice the amount of points multiple times, scored under 110 points once the entire season and of course like clock work i have my lowest point output of the season and lose yesterday. As soon as i seen that ***** up in the luxury box in dallas i knew my fantasy team, dallas and tony romo were screwed!

This is funny stuff.

If Dallas and the Pats meet in SB42, I hope Jessica makes a repeat appearance in the luxury box.

Chris

That is fuuny. I was telling a friend of mine the same thing. I was saying "would you beable to play football knowing that after the game you might be getting a taste if Jessica Simpson". We were cracking up. I bet that's the last time she goes. Philips will probably be giving Romeo a speech about who he brings to the game as a guest. Didn't Romeo have a sub-par game when he had Carrie Underwood with him? I can't rememebr but it might have been the Monday night game against Buffalo.

i have westbrook and romo on my team and i still might upset somehow if chester taylor and bernard berrian can combine for 10 points.

I need Berrian and Olsen to crap the bed tonight. They cant score 7points between them!!

If I hang on.. My Brady/Moss Juggernaut of a FFB team rolls on!!

Chester Taylor should manage 10 points all by himself. :p

Yup, patience is the hardest virtue to practice in fantasy football though, especially since each week you keep a nonproducer on the bench can be the difference between a win and a loss.
Fortunately for me I swung a trade for Marques Colston shortly thereafter, and Colston has been a beast for me.
#2 WR is still a bit week with Evans slowing down lately, but no team's perfect.

I love my runningbacks though, if they can just stay healthy one more week I am golden: Westbrook, E. Graham, Fargas.

I freakin lost 104.34-104.16... by .18 points. If Berrian had two more receiving yards, one more reception for any yards, or chester taylor had 2 more rush yards, game set match....

d%#*!@t im pissed. i was a 30 point underdog and had romo/westbrook so i probably should have expected to lose.

anyway, time for rum and cokes to drown my fantastical sorrow.

Well so it goes. Anyways I advanced to my League's Final Championship game pretty handily. My RBs were solid. Let's hope they can keep it up. I will post the details in the League 4 thread.

Well, I made it to the title game despite Westbrook's play. Fortunately, ADP didn't burn me last night despite Chicago giving him every chance possible with all of the 3-and-outs (I think SEVEN in total).

Chris

Uggh and Fargas goes down with a season ending injury right before the championship game!! Aaaah.
