A true fan of the game would make it his business to know the history of the sport, rather than just assume and make statements that are false. You basically know squat about the Patriots prior to 2001, yet you assume things which were not the case.

I know a lot about the NFL from the 60's and 70's when I was young, try reading a book, doing some research on the internet, etc etc instead of spending all of your free time playing online poker and posting on 9,000 fan forums.

You can't tell me the Pats have had a worse year then the Dolphins this season. We're on 5th and 6th string running backs and safeties, 3rd string QB, and have a plethora of injuries else where.

Well I remember a few years ago the Pats were down to an undrafted rookie, a wide reciever, and a CFL player at CB. Of course that team won the Super Bowl.
Other than that I don't know what to tell you. I am certain that Pats fans here can tell you about seasons that were similar to that, if not worse. Record wise if you lose the next two games you match the Pats of the Rod Rust era.
