Classless from the classiest team.
Shameful

The high scores this year are unreal ... remember when all the rage was parity ... I guess that went down the toilet. There may be 32 teams but the league is watered down ... let's face it the salary cap era has led to a watered down league due to superstar desperation to make $$$.

You are unclear on the concept, apparently. Having LT accumulate all of his carries in only the first half is the opposite of running up the score. It's not about the points you score, it's who scores them, if you are talking about running up the score.

Please, you have got to be kidding me. Doesn't even compare with any of the games where the Pats were considered to run up the score.

1. Detroit threw 5 interceptions.
2. We pulled our starters in the 3rd quarter.
3. We ran the ball most of the 3rd quarter, and all of the 4th quarter.
4. The Lions self-destructed.

As opposed to the Pats playing their starters the entire game and continue to throw the ball. THAT, is the difference.

No need to get all bent out of shape. Everyone in the football world knows the Chargers wouldn't stoop to something as cheap and as baseless as running up the score...the Chargers fans define it a little differently...the score just happened to accumulate because of their class and good will at taking their time scoring touchdowns.

No problem. Now you can go home. Thanks.

Thank you for seeing my point :D

Thank you Chargers fans for telling us how classy your team is.

Why did I know this thread would get started? Bottom line, SD rested people and the last score was all about the 2nd team.

I haven't taken exception to anything the pats have done this year. I think in actuality it's pretty hard to take exception with the pats this year. The pats had a workman like performance today and I applaud it. The pats are a very good team and I hope SD gets and opportunity to learn more about them this year.

So it's Detroit's fault that you were able to score:rolleyes:

But in our case, it had to be our fault to score:rolleyes:

You ran the ball the entire 4th quarter. That is what you do best. If you did not want to score and give the opponents a chance, you would have thrown the ball. Why didn't you guys do so? You guys did what you do best - run. We did what we do best - throw.

When the Pats pulled out the starters in the 3rd - 4th, we were still called running up the score.

Talk about blinders...

Because you're mistaken. While we *might* be able to run the ball effectively. If we continued attacking thru the air the game would have gotten even more out of hand. The Lions shot their load last week against the Cowboys. They were crying uncle towards the end of the 1st half.

You obviously know nothing about the game of football.....

What are you talking about? The game in question featured all of your starters through most (if not all) of the 4th quarter. Yeah, we ran in the second half.......with our 3rd string RB/return man. Rivers sat out the whole 4th and half of the 3rd quarter. Why is it so hard to understand the difference?

This is hilarious...what...do you Charger fans have a secret lightning bolt decoder ring that alerts you to posts on enemy boards?

They're feeling scrappy after their monumental win over the Lions without Steroid Boy.

Actually, we have quite a number of Pats fans on our forum who linger around daily. What's your point? By the way, how's your steroid boy?

what I was most disgusted by is when they went for it on 4th down in the 4th quarter when they were already up 30!!!
absolutely ******* classless.

I just hope someone doesn't try to take out billy volek's knee next week because norv turner is coaching w/a chip on his shoulder.

what a disgrace to the game of football....

Still trying to get his neck and forehead 1/8th the size of Shawne's.

On edit: It should be Steriod boys. I forgot Castillo juices up, too.

Riiight. I believe it was 4th and 1 at the Lions' 35 yard line. Too short to punt, too long for a FG. Hmm...
