Aqua ... did you have a depends moment on that TD Sunday?

Seriously ... it has to feel good. No goosegg and the 1st pick intact.

I hope you are being sarcastic with that comment about it being "indescribable" because if you are serious, you are a complete tool........................

I saw your post on the other thread, so I just answered my own question; you are being serious.

You rank THIS victory higher than a playoff win?

Wow.

You have just lost any right to dump on another member on this forum.

EVER.

Just W-O-W.

I'm pretty happy myself... its been over a year since I've seen the Dolphins win a game. Now the worst is over... things can only get better from here.

You mean the 'lphins are going to try for a 17-game losing streak? Cool! :D

Go a full calendar year without winning and lose 16 straight games and then tell me your feelings. The truth is you have NO IDEA and you can't possibly understand the emotion and feeling that occured today.

You're just a spoiled fan right now who's time will come.

Sorry to crash your pity party, but Pats fans DO have an idea what your going through. The seasons between our first Superbowl appearance when we "Squished the Fish" and the arrival of Bill Parcells, Pats fans suffered through some miserable years that included records of 1-15 and 2-14. Get over yourself!

Once again you are 1000% wrong Aqua, TW, whatever the @#$% you call yourself these days; as FCF pointed out, the Patriots used to be laughing stocks, I sat through a 1-15 season as a ticket holder, they won their first game that year at Indy and lost 15 strait after that, including all eight home games.

Do me a favor, STOP calling me a bandwagon fan, a spoiled fan, etc, etc whose time will come. Really, do you have a crystal ball and know when the party will end here in New England? According to you lamebrain, it was to occur last year, how the @#$% did that work out for you and the Doofins? I have followed this team since 1969, that's close to FORTY YEARS, so talk to me when you have been a fan of the Doofins for that long, ok sport?

If I had been stranded on a desert island the past four months and was rescued today and listened to those two raving moron play by play tools on Doofin radio, I'd have thought you idiots sewed up HFA throughout the playoffs today.

As the great Jim Brown says, act like you've been there before, that was pathetic.

To the Dolphin fans.

Congrats on the win. That is a huge monkey off your backs.

Enjoy the win.

Some fans, have gotten so use to wins they have stopped being able to enjoy a win. As evident by some of the doom and gloom comments after the Ravens game.

Enjoy it while it lasts. You have a little less than a week before your next losing streak begins.

Were you a topic on every single sports program every single day with the anchors making fun of your team? Was your team reportedly up for sale? Was the fan base divided into camps in terms of wanting to keep or fire the coach? Did the coach could criticized for every single move he made?

The circumstances are a little different. Plus, you didn't answer my question. Did you lose 16 straight and go a full calendar year without winning? No, you didn't.

Get over myself? This thread was asking me the question, I believe I was asked of my opinion unlike you.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. And yes, to all of your whiny little questions. We had a coach that created a media situation with some players, and a certain female reporter some years back that made the Patriots the laughing stock of the league along with their pathetic performance on the field. This has been a long time coming for a franchise like Miami and I daresay, it will last for a little while.:D

How does it feel TW/Aqua to constantly be wrong? You claim to be some expert on football, yet you know almost nothing about the history of any other team aside from your own.

In my book, that makes you a homer, not a fan.

Get your head out of your ass.

Actually during this period the Patriots had a sexual harrasment scandal, and went through three different head coaches. The team was sold and there was a possibility of the team actually moving to St. Louis. While I wasn't around during this period I know that there was plenty of questioning of the coach, and I know pre-parcells the Pats were always a bit of a local joke if not national. I wasn't around during these years and didn't experience them first hand but it is certainly true that the Pats over their history have had more lean years than the Dolphins so I don't know where you get off calling Pats fans spoiled. This being said I have rooted for bad teams (last year's version of the Celtics comes to mind) and I can certainly understand your thrill with winning a game.

Looks like someone beat me to the punch. Still it is laughable and showing of some ignorance on your part that you think the Pats have never gone through a similar period as the Dolphins are going through now.

You're just a spoiled fan right now who's time will come.

Our time came and went in the early 90's , we had idiotic owners, coaches and stoners for players.. now we are basking in the limelight of the NFL.. doubt if we will ever descend into that hell again, Mr. Kraft is a fan first.. not a speculator.

BTW love the 4:20 analogy..

Travis -
Why do you continue to make idiotic statements like this. The TRUTH is that MOST Pats fans suffered through a 1-15 season followed by a 6-10 season followed by a 2-14 season. YES, we DO understand the emotion and the feeling of what occured today. BETTER than your sorry arse.

As for us being spoiled, this coming from a know nothing wannabe Fins fan who yammers on about how many winning seasons his team has..

Give me a break.

Football newbies like Aqua/TW have absolutely NO idea what they're talking about. No viscereal sense of history. Of course, Pats fans know with every fiber of their being what it's like to have a one or a two W season. Been there, done that. Just because a newbie fanboy experiences something for the 1st time in his short life doesn't mean it's unique to human experience. What self-centered thinking. Not unexpected.

Remember, it took a good owner and a goor org, one that made itself good luck that resulted in drafting and then KEEPING Brady as the 4th QB on a 53 roster to give us what we have today. The football culture embraced by this ownership promises a competitive product for the forseeable future. Contrast that outlook with past Patriots history of bad ownership or the confused and inept ownership of many NFL franchises, q.v. the lphins.
