Re: Will Brady break Mannings TD record?

I know he will BUT i would like to see him have at least 2 TDs but i haven't seen it today. What a big disappointment for Pats's O line.!

Re: Will Brady break Mannings TD record?

He'll break it but unless he gets a couple today he likely won't get it in Foxboro next week and will get it against the Giants.

Considering how crappy the crowd in Gillette has been this season I'm not sure I mind.

I freaking hope so!

I hope he sits on the bench against the Giants instead of risking injury for the sake of same over-glorified personal achievement. In all honesty, I would be disappointed to see our starters out there against New York, because winning the Super Bowl should be all that matters and we should not (in my opinion) jeapordize the health of key players just to chase down a TD record and a perfect season. A lot can happen in 60 minutes.

Winning the Super Bowl is precisely why you do not rest your starters in week 17 when you've got a bye. You don't want your players to play their first playoff game after 20 days without playing football. Look what happened to Indy in 2005 they were rusty as hell and lost because of that exact situation.

He might get the records against the Dolphins alone. Yes they are that bad. :) Well weather pending, of course.

As long as the weather isn't bad next week, he'll definitely be back on pace. Don't let the win fool you today, Miami is a bad, bad team.

So are the Jets, but they were competitive today.

Oh, please...Brady chances getting hurt everytime he walks on the playing field. The odds are no different in the Giant game than in any other game.

Scared men don't win Super Bowls.

Not really. They scored on a fluke play caused by the weather. Other than that, the conditions kept the score close, but the Jets really weren't in it. If the weather is fine next week and the wind calm, Brady will be back on track.

All things being equal, I wasn't the most comfortable Patriots fan going into the fourth quarter.

Of course Brady will be back.

To be fair, I wasn't either. But looking back on the game, it really wasn't close at any point.

Weather.com says 40 degrees, partly cloudy, 5-10mph wind, 10% chance of precipitation next Sunday. It's early, of course, and the weather's anything but certain, but that's a good sign.
