I suppose imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but I find it interesting that my take on the post-game ManJudas/Belichick handshake made the PFT Rumormill "Cover"

The only thing is, I didn't send it to them, nor am I a "loyal member" of "PFT Planet".

Likely someone else sent it in to Florio - which all things considered I'll take as a compliment to my sense of humor - hopefully this doesn't count as part of my 15 minutes of fame.

A loyal member of PFT Planet has offered up a prediction as to the post-game greeting between Bill Belichick and Eric Mangini.

hate to tell you but Patriots Gameday used the same clip.. so i dont imagine your the only one with the idea..

How do you know that was your photo and not someone else's or that another person had a similar idea?

If it was your photo, I bet Florio didn't get it from anyone else, that douche probably stole it right off your sig and pretended he received it from someone.

Florio doesn't do the artwork/photoshop stuff, "Taco Bill" does.

Probably not - but seeing as I've had that up for nearly a week, and knowing that sportswriters and producers do in fact frequent this site to take the pulse of fans (what quicker and better way is there?) I'd be willing to bet that wasn't an entirely creative idea on their part.

Quell coincidence, Florio's even using EXACTLY the same photo.

Did you capture it yourself or find it on the internet?

EDIT: It's linked from a website in your sig. So I'm assuming either A) Someone saw your sig and sent it to Florio or B) Someone was thinking of the same scene and Googled it.

Well basically it's the "Fredo" concept that I've been pushing for a week - specifically regarding the post-game handshake.

And it just so happens that the same photo (and no - it's not my own personal screensave from the movie ) and same concept come up on Florio's site now.

Like I said, I'm not mad or anything - but if your signature line/photo showed up on a national football website you might remark on it too.

Right, but I just don't think you were the only one who thought of the scene, especially since the Godfather movies are regarded by many as some of the best ever.

Geez this isn't innocent until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt. This falls beyond the 50/50 threshold towards "very likely copied."
