Last year we got the Field Turf down pretty fast. Can we build a dome by January? We look like a very ordinary bad-weather team, even mediocre on offense.

we cant even design a dome by then

the stadium is built..you gotta get a LOT of measurements, plan it all out. thats gonna take awhile then the actual installation

Plus I imagine concrete hardens slower in the winter.

I, personally, would not want to see a dome.

This team has made its reputation playing hard when the going gets tough. In adverse conditions, we have been stronger, better prepared, and more hardnosed than any other team in the NFL over the past 5 years. We have built our reputation as a tough, get-down-and-dirty, Spartan kind of team.

So I say forget stats, forget scoring margins, forget these long passes. Smashmouth football in the dirt, baby. That's where real players prove their worth.

They're building a billion dollar stadium in New Jersey. A lot of money. But they decided not to go with a dome. What does that tell you?

Why? I don't care that it was the Jets. Our defense gave up three points today. We had some breakdowns at the end, but we played smashmouth football and won by 10 points and the only TD we gave up was on a blocked punt.

Sure, it wasn't pretty, but we showed we could run the ball and shut down the opposing team's running game.

I'm sure if we were facing the Colts today, we would have had a more aggressive offensive strategy. We played ball control offense for most of the game. We had the ball 33.37 vs. 26:24. I would say that was accomplished.

I prefer outdoor fields.

Weather is mostly a problem when attempting 30+ yard receptions on almost every passing play

And thats all that matters, at least in my opinion- the victory.

To be quite frank, I dont care much for Brady or Moss's personal records (though I'd be happy for them if they get the TD records). I've always been a fan of the old-style Patriots smashmouth, grind, hardnosed football in adverse weather. I'll never forget the Colts playoff game in the snow a few years ago, when we almost shut-out the Colts (held them to three points) and abused Indy all over the field. That, in my mind, was the essence of what the Patriots are. And I want to see that kind of football again. Run, run, run, hit hard, and play hard.

maybe if we lash a few goodyear blimps together and float them over the stadium, it will make the weather better

Why would we want a dome? We're not the Colts.

The ONLY way Kraft builds a dome is if he thinks he can get a SB imo.

We won the game

We won the game:bricks: :bricks: :bricks:

We could build a large tent and get some big pegs. Oh, and we could buy a really big heater. :D

What about the world's biggest blanket?

yes lets build a dome....manning is busy practicing in the snow and cold in oakland
