Damm. How bad are they to lose to the Niners. I am pissed that the Niners have now won 4 games, one more than the Jets. I want to be in the draft spot to have McFadden available as he seems to be the one player who would give us the most leverage in a possible draft trade.

To the Falcons, Rams, Jets(except today), and others.....START WINNING

i'm disappointed, but i'm over it. it's still a pretty darn good pick considering the trade

What's the point ? We're still turning #28 last year into Moss + a top ten pick this year. The trade worked out better than I hoped - or better than I expected anyway.

In a way it would have been nice to have that pick, because the Patriots might have found a trading partner interested in McFadden, but the silver lining to all of this is that some posters might stop saying NE's going to draft DMac.

Also, the Patriots might have an easier time trading down as they won't need as much in return, and if they actually spend the pick the contract will be slightly less.

Pissed? Why? I expected their sorry assess to lose. Obviously I wanted them to win, but I was expecting their lameassess to lose. The Bengals SUCK!

the irony is we thought missing out on the brady quinn trade was terrible and we ended up getting the better trade. we can't say mcfadden is the end of the world. teams have needs and teams get desperate for improvement, then they end up mortgaging the future a bit

I wouldn't be at all upset if Malcolm Jenkins (comes out and) looks great at the combine. He's very young, tall and athletic. Signing him to a 6 year deal could be very, very good.

Assuming that they can't trade down (and trading down is difficult, a lot of the time, nowadays), I wouldn't be surprised if the Pats would prefer to pick at 10 or so versus 2. They'll still get a top-tier talent, and it will cost way less.
