No Robert Mathis,No Raheem Brock this week,Obviously No Dwight Freeney either and in the backfield no Bethea.

If the Colts do not get healthier soon we may not see them in the AFCCG and they will limp into the 2nd seed.

I smell a Raiders upset today against that Collegiate looking D-line the Colts will have on the field.

Personally, I think Dungy is trying to manage the injuries to be as healthy as possible in the playoffs.
The Colts only need 1 win to lock up the #2 seed, or a Pit loss.
I doesn't seem like he's concerned with going 14-2, just that he's at least 1 game better than the Steelers.
I don't think the Raiders have enough offense to score with Manning & co.

Jags had a shot in Indy to beat them. Jags offense played surprisingly well. I think Garrard has turned the corner and will be a decent qb. Not an elite one. Just a decent one. Jags secondary killed them with with crossing/option routes. DB's constantly jumped the wrong guy. For example, on R.Wayne's long td pass. The S bit on Clark running a seam pattern. Now why on god's green earth would you double Clark when Wayne is running one-on-one? My guess is Oakland's dB's won't be able to handle Colts sophisticated passing attact.

Raiders will score. But, not enough.

While its true the Raiders have no offense, this may be the week they can do something against possibly the weakest front in the league with all those injuries.

Mathis is what keeps that front 7 at its best - Brackett is going to have to have one hell of a game to keep those guys from letting the Raiders stay in the game,If Indy was anywhere near 100% healthy on that line,I would say the Colts would win by 30.

Right now if the Colts don't get healthier, they will get beat badly once the second season starts.

until i see it i won't believe it. they can still outscore people.

and this poor pity peyton party that he doesn't have his weapons is pathetic. he has had reggie wayne all year and addai(been nicked up a tiny bit) and has had clark and gonzalez most of the year. he just hasn't had harrison

Oakland plays the pass pretty decent, but Manning has shredded better secondaries. Not saying he's going to throw 5 td's, but with Oakland's run defense and Joseph Addai, I don't see Indy getting less than 30.

On the other side, I thought they would miss Freeney a lot more than they seem to have. Not downplaying the loss of any of these linemen, but their defensive scheme seems pretty flexible. I don't think Oakland will break 30.

Any given Sunday, but as much as I'm hoping for an upset, I don't think this is the week.

The Colts would beat the Raiders unless thay had no Manning and no Addai. That said, my fantasy team is stuck with Janikowski so I'm happy with the current Colts' defense :)

for all the talk about how BB can grab the pretzel guy out of the stands during pre-game and have him be a serviceable corner by game time the Colts have a D that can truely play with scrubs. everyone was big on saying they where going to lose at various points during the season due to injuries on D and it never really happened -- injuries on the O side on the other hand....

I like to see the Colts lose as much as the next guy, but don't get your hopes up for the Raiders beating them :p

and I agree, Dungy is all about managing injuries this season; willing to risk a loss to make sure he has some kind of squad left for playoff time. The situation with Bob Sanders last season seems to have flipped a switch for that team.

Considering Addai's health, if Manning doesn't have a big game and they use Addai for 20+ carries, it won't help them much going forward.

If Fargas has a huge day he could eat up the Colts weak DL, and the Raiders may give the Colts a run for their money. If not, Colts still win by playing ahead as they usually do. Playing ahead masks a lot of weaknesses for that defense, and Sanders will crowd the box to enforce the run.

The Colts will score 40 today. You think the Raiders can equal that? The Colts aren't losing in Oakland. The Colts are still a great team because they have a QB who can go no huddle and they have excellent receivers in Clark and Wayne and Gonzalez and Addai will shred that piss poor Raiders run defense. The Colts wouldn't beat us or the Steelers today, but these are the Raiders we're talking about.

Every time a Colt gets hurt, an angel gets its wings

The Colts still have Manning, Addai, Wayne, Dallas Clark, and some of their other offensive weapons, right?

In other words, their defense might be banged up right now, but the Raiders offense will still have to match the Colts offensive output, and I'm not sure they can, even with the Colts defense at less than full strength.

every week people expect the team playing the colts to pull an upset.just doesnt happen.

Addai is going to have a field day against the Raiders, a buck fifty and at least one TD. I don't think the Raiders will be able to stop the bleeding. :help: Colts win. :(

Exactly. They lost to us, but we're the best team in the league. They lost to San Diego, but that was a fluke and they pretty much beat themselves. Other than that, they really haven't been challenged.

It's amazing that, but for some scheduling and a bit of luck, we could have had three unbeaten teams right now, NE, Indy, and Dallas (if they didn't have to play the Pats)

Their only chance is if Fargas can keep Manning off the field for 40 mins.

Can't see it happening.

The best part is two of them are undrafted free agents. Those mentioning Dungy saving these guys for the playoffs are correct. The Raiders may have some success against the Coltss D, but I seriously doubt they can have with the Coltss O. Oakland's passing D numbers are a little off since everyone runs on them so much.

The Colts still have Gary Brackett, Bob Sanders, Marlin Jackson, and Kelvin Hayden to keep Fargas from big gains on the ground. I hate the Colts, but the Raiders are a bad team.

That's a lot of if's in there, IF you ask me. ;)
NE doesn't play Indy or Dallas?
Indy doesn't play a bad game against the Bolts?

I suppose we can throw the Pack in there as well, IF they don't play a bad 2nd half against the Bears, and IF they don't play the Cowboys.

What I will agree is amazing is it's entirely possible we could have 4 teams finish 14-2 or better.
