Maybe im letting my Bam "Fandom" cloud my better judgement... We (my family) always pulls for him. We have had the chance to meet him more than a few times now, and he is always really cool.
Here's hoping he proves everyone wrong next season! :eat3:
If Bam could replace Donte Stallworth, he would be on the roster right now.
By the way, Stallworth is still technically under contract next year. He might not need replacing... and if he does, it'll be Chad Jackson stepping into the cracks, not Bam Childress, whose career is likely as dead as a doornail.
In all seriousness, and not to be disrespectful, but this is kind of a dumb post. While I love the fire, spirit, and competitiveness of Bam.....it is just apples and oranges trying to compare him.....and a elite WR that surely WOULD BE our #1 receiver if a guy by the name of Randy Moss had not been signed a few weeks after Donte was.......Stallworth has exceptional skills, and although pretty overshadowed this year alot by Moss and Welker....If Stallworth leaves after this year, (considering Moss stays on) we have alot of other options other than Bam.........good luck to him though....hard working kid!

I'm with you when it comes to rooting for Childress - I believe I started the phrase "on the Bamwagon" (which has yet to gain any traction whatsoever) - but one of many things Stallworth does is break tackles and, at 190 pounds on a high-gravity day, Bam can't do that.
I love the guy, he's just not a big-play player. Fifth receiver at best, and that was last year.

Good post. It's not like I hate Bam either. I love the way he keeps giving it his all every ST. The problem is he hasn't shown enough talent to even stick on the roster.
This whole hatred on stallworth is amazing, he is not having a great season like Welker or Moss, but he is a key cog in the offense, and would hope he would come back next yr, and I think he will.
