Vrabel looks questionable with a thigh injury but that probably means he'll play anyway...

I sure hope you're right, Skree.
That would suck losing him right now.

I'd hope they would get Pierre Woods some serious playing time if Vrabel is in fact out.

Nothing against KFFL, but if all we have is a poster or two from there.....I am not buying.

There's no debating that Vrabel is listed as "Questionable" -- that's not rumor, it's official. Also "Questionable" are Watson, Neal, and Sanders. History says probably half of those four will play and half won't.

No link yet, they have been talking about it on WEEI a few times today with Ted Johnson on as their guest debating how the Patriots will likely go to a 4-3 for this game, although that doesnt do them much good with the loss of Wright for the season. Supposedly Vrabel was seen walking with a "major" limp in the locker room and is now listed as questionable for the game.

Same poster. Cardiak.

The issue is whether Belichick will play an injured Vrabel and Watson.

watching the news last night, and on the Pats section Vrabel was in the background stretching.. so he might be upgraded.

Yesterday on WEEI (after the disasterous segment that was Jose Canseco), Burton, Lobel and Ted Johnson were talking about how Vrabel had been limping around the clubhouse this week. They said it was an ankle and that this was a significant limp. Burton said he did not expect Vrabel to play to day.

For what it is worth, Ted Johnson's position was that they would go with a 4-3 if Vrabel didn't play.

Ted Johnson obviously knows more than I do but that makes no sense. If we were missing an ILB I could see it but it's not like Seau or Bruschi can move to OLB. We'll still have Thomas and the two ILB.

They made it seem as if Woods or EA would see some time.

I could see Woods or Chad Brown at OLB but that still doesn't dictate moving to a 4-3 like it would if Bruschi or Seau were hurt.

This was my thinking too. If it's a leg injury, and the conditions are slick and the ground harder, he would almost be guaranteed to aggravate it during the game.

I don't want to lose to the Jets by any means, but I would rather lose to the Jets (which we still shouldn't do, even without Vrabel) than lose V for the playoff run.
