Each week the air gets more rarified but I cannot keep up.

Only the 72 dolphins have gone 14-0

Indy in 2005,Denver in 98 and Chicago in 85 each lost the 14th game after they each went 13-0

So 5 teams have gone 13-0 but only 1 has gone 14-0. (Until tomorrow.) Most excellent.

I think only the 72 Dolphins ! Pretty sure we will be only the 2nd team to do so. I know Vikings had a 15-1 season but also lost after i think 13 ! Now i have to go and check up !!!.

The 1998 Vikings won their first 7, then lost a game, and finished 15 - 1. Some guy named Moss had 17 regular season TDs. They lost in the NFC Championship Game to the Atlanta Falcons.

'85 Bears got to 12 - 0, then lost, and finished 15 - 1. Won super bowl.

'84 49ers got to 6 - 0, then lost, and finished 15 - 1. Won super bowl.

'04 Steelers lost their second game, finished 15 - 1. They lost in the AFCCG to the Patriots, 41 - 27, and it really wasn't as close as the score implies.

I think that's it for 15 - 1 teams.

Didn't the Pats go 15-1?

Let's put off celebrating tomorrow's win until 4 pm or so, OK?

Or maybe a little earlier if it's a blowout.

And by the way, if we do win Miami has a LOT on the line next week -- their own loss streak, our attack on their franchise's streak record, etc.

If the Pats win they will join the fish as the only team to start with 14 wins. They will also tie the Steelers for most consectutive wins in a season -14
