This is my first post on this forum, so let me start by saying hello. I understand I am in enemy territory here, but that doesnt stop you guys from jumping on the colts forum. I just wanted to comment that I think we are all blessed to see the kind of quarterbacking and play in general from both of our teams over the last 8 years or so. I must point out that I am a Michigan Fan, and used to root for Tom Brady. Although I dont root for him now, I certainly can respect the kind of competitor and player he is, especially his demeanor on the sideline, because it reminds me of how I was when I played in High school. Both of our Organizations are FIRST Class, I do believe that a January 20th showdown in Gillette awaits us. If it is anything like last years game, I might not live through it(ha ha). Dont want to get too far ahead of myself though(see 2005,steelers). I Guess im just here to say that I LOVE the rivalry between our teams, it what makes my ticker click during the season. Nothing is better to me than the anticipation of a matchup between bradys bunch and peytons people, and I just think we should consider ourself blessed. I might not always be so cordial as I am now if there is an issue I disagree with, but just like you, I love my team, and reserve the right to disagree on occasion. Nice to be here, good luck to you on your quest for perfection. Just remember, we are in the fat years now, so we should enjoy it, because this will not always be the case. Nice chattin' to you patsies. Good luck on your quest for perfection.

Welcome!

One clue -- "Patsies" is a quite obsolete. Please refer to the New England NFL team as "the Patriots", "the Pats", "New England", "the Flying Elvises", "Ron Borges' worst nightmare", "the dynasty all others worship", or "the Anti-Christ".

As for the substance of your sentiments -- I much agree with you, as per this post: http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/showthread.php?t=65212

Welcome.

I might be in the minority, but I think the Colts are a very dangerous team and could give the Pats a tough game if they meet again as most people expect.

We are fortunate. QB play is so important, and it's no coincidence that Pats and Indy have the two best and are consistently in the later playoffs.

welcome to the forum...
lets just enjoy the season...
pats-colts on afccg would be epic...

Hello Jafo. How do you like coltfreaks?

Oh, I think so.

Great sig pic. At least that bit of silliness came after Brady had scored a TD (as opposed to Alex Smith hitting himself in the head with a bad throw :) ).

Hello Jafo. How do you like coltfreaks?

I like it ok. They dont throw you out for saying the slightest bit of sarcasm or referencing a pats fan as someone who rubs hot sauce in Tom Bradys jock. I got banned from the official colts forum for a day for saying that.

Welcome. Yes, the Colts continue to field an excellent team, driven by 2 guys that know the game - Dungy and Polian. Although I don't care for Polian, I'll certainly give him kudos for his football acumen. I think it will be the Colts and Pats on January 20th, but let's see how it all plays out. There's always a surprise or 2 when teams start down the playoff path. I for one don't view the journey all the way to the SB as any kind of cakewalk for any team, including my beloved Patriots. I know teams like the Colts, Cowboys, and Packers are looming out there, with dark horses like the Chargers and Vikings looming in the shadows. Let's see how it all plays out...:)

Our most feared team the past couple of years is Indy. This is my opinion.

Out of every other team in the NFL, I as a Patriots fan, fear the Colts the most.

Ohh, and welcome to the board dude...

Welcome. We do have some very good Colts fans who post here. We have also had some complete and total a-hole Colts trolls.

Hope that you are the former rather than the latter.

This cracked me up. You set yoourself upf or that one comparing yourself to Tom Brady.

As for the Colts it will come down to the Pats or Colts who will go to the Superbowl.

A couple reasons why I can't stand the Colts.

1. They whine and the refs make calls to their favor.

2. They cheat and turn up the heat.

3. I am not a fan of the holier than thou perception of Dungy. he can pull this off because of his henchman Polian. The fact that Dungy is aware that he acosts people is atrocious in itself. Everyone in football cheats- it's big business.

4. Manning blames his teammates.

haha more conspiracy theories. Sorry out of the two teams, the Colts and the Pats, the Colts are not the ones who have been exposed as cheaters.

If you're thinking the Pats who are the only ones with film of teams then you're fooling yourselves.

I'm surprised Polian hasn't tried sublimal messages in the PA system or even a strobe light when the opposing team's offense goes on the field.

Heck he's already pumped up the crowd noise, turned up the heat, ruined the QB/coach communciation system last game, changed rules.

Just because you change the rules doesn't make it right.

That was the funniest thing EVER. A Colts fan responding to a Steeler fan commenting on the first post to a PATRIOTS forum.

Ignorance is bliss, Read My post CAREFULLY. I did not compare myself to Tom Brady as a Player, I compared My demeanor as a player to Tom's. Is it so unlikely that there might be more than one highly competitve person who loves his teammates on the planet? Hmmmmmm?

I read your post CAREFULLY and did you not compare yourself to Tom Brady?

Saying you have the same competitive drive as Brady was set yourself up.

You might as well compare yourself to Jordan.
